I sat and watched the birds with my mum, absolutely terrified of birds for years after.

The fa cup final day was always fantastic with programs running all day like swap shop etc.

Christ, crown court and crossroads brings back fond childhood memories of sitting down with my mum other things we watched together was the wrestling.

The cartoons...The Whacky Races, Hong Kong Phoey, Top Cat, Tom and Jerry, etc.

Plus 'World of Sport' with Dickie Davies, when they used to put the rallycross on (which was rare).

The Golden Shot with Bob Monkhouse was good too.

The Dukes of Hazzard

The Fall Guy

Rugby internationals with Bill McLaren commentating

Formula 1 races with Murray Walked commentating

Rent-a-Ghost

Tomorrow's World

Minder

The Sweeney...AWESOME!!!

Captain Pugwash, with its risqué characters...Seaman Staines, and Master Bates, lol. I bet its creator was laughing their cock off every time that was aired (just before the six o'clock news if I remember rightly).

Fortunately those Pugwash names are an urban myth made up by a newspaper which quickly spread and taken as truth. The creator of Pugwash successfully sued the defaming paper.
