From a quiet corner in Porth |
For all 35 - 45 pluses in here ,where was your place of choice to go clubbing back in the day till 4 - 6 am in the morning ,where you danced like no one was looking doing the gurn and loving everyone ??
Mine was either the hippo club Cardiff or Marphas/escape Swansea? |

This is going back some years 
Used to love the odd trip to Chippenham to gold diggers and always a top night in crystal rooms in Hereford back in the mid to late 90’s.

1989-1991 Hereford Crystal Rooms, Fantasia, Cafe Tabac Cheltenham, Players in Bath lol, Golds and UWE Bristol (Vibes Alive), Moon Club Bristol, Henry Afrika's and GAS Cheltenham......and probably least classy Student night at Cinderalla's Gloucester. |

Golddiggers in Chippenham had a notorious reputation in the area where I grew up back in the day (just a couple of miles up the road), but it was the first club I ever went in. The Brunel Rooms in Swindon was also known for not exactly being kosher, but when you are young you don't care  . |

For me in Cardiff it would have been The Square club, The Dog and Duck, Tom Toms, The Loop , Metros, or the Great Western Downstairs. Those were the days. |

One in Porthcawl that burned down, I can't even remember the name, think it started with an S
That got replaced with the Buccanner on the front, holiday girls were always fun.

Pub crawls around Caerphilly .... the railway , the kings, the blue bell, the boars head then all the way down to the pic before heading over to the Castle for a dance then up to the Camelot. |

Done a few mentioned, as Bristol boy we always took our stag nights out of town, mostly Gold Diggers, Brunnel rooms ,a massive club in swansea sure it started with a B??? And s lovely place in Cardiff know one has mentioned TITO,s i believe it was called all on the rough side lol just as well rucked in them all lol, to be young again lol |

Stoneleigh, see I knew it started with an s.
Drones was the nearest when i was young. It was also nearly my first public sex act as well. One night I'd been dancing and taking too this girl, trainee nurse, see moved to the bank room and started to tumble and play. We'd just got to the trousers down short up panties off stage when about couple walked in. it all went a bit panicked as we reached for clothes and looked for staff. Then we laughed about it and went back to just playing. I didn't get to have sex with her that night.

Had to be the escape northampton lane swanses not when it moved to the jumping jacks site
Also ritzy and central park
But bank holiday sundays used to be
Waterside marthers central park and then escape and maybe top bannana if still going |

I remember the Brunel Rooms, mates went but I think I was up to something else lol, heard it was a good night though. |
