Hi guys, going to chams Newport on 30th, will be our first time and going to be a tad nervous. What time do people tend to get there? We obviously need to register and join etc as well. We won't know where to go would someone like to meet us and show us around? |

First of all congrats on plucking up the courage to go in the first place, it's a big step! Registration is easy and takes no more than a couple of minutes usually. Remember your ID!
Secondly, the doors open at half 8 if I remember rightly, and you will see some early arrivals at that time, including most of the single guys who want to get in before the limit is reached. There will be a steady trickle of people arriving all night but usually there is a slight surge between 9 and 10pm. Most of the playing starts to pick up after 11pm, but you will always find someone somewhere who wants to get the party started earlier.
If you spend a little bit of time in the bar area, the regulars will spot that you are new and will approach you for a chat. If you feel comfortable then they will be pleased to show you around. It is a bit of a maze and seems daunting at first but everyone is friendly and if you get lost people will happily help you find your way again.
Most importantly, try to relax, be yourselves and enjoy the evening  |

My advice don't go! You'll only get hooked and want to party every week, then do road trips, you'll meet some amazing but slightly perverted people along the way too and wonder why you were ever nervous in the first place

We love Newport but isn't it nice to go to new places and meet a whole new bunch of people. Doesn't Everyone like a road trip? I'm super excited to go to a new place just for a change of scene xxmiss |

Because its totally different, Newport is more of a social pub vibe, Darlaston is more play oriented. But that's just our experience of both clubs over 8 years X |

Totally agree. And everyone is entitled to go where they like. After all swinging is about variety! And seem as they're owned by the same person visiting Darlaston is lining his pocket just the same as Newport  |

it's a great club we was very nervous on our first visit but soon went after about 20 minutes. Every one is so friendly and we have been 5 times since.
But as this is a long weekend thought we would try darlaston. |

I go to Newport for a social aspect We don’t play at clubs and neither do we play on the scene anymore we aren’t going to go the Midlands coz we decided we didn’t want to! I like Newport as it’s what I know it’s close to home and easy plus way to busy weekend to be driving to the midlands and back however if it wasn’t just a crap choice in the weekend we would have gone but we are going to the one on our doorstep  |

We travel all over the UK to clubs as we enjoy the diversity.
Newport is a great little club and we love going there.
Some of the clubs we go to are bigger than darleston and the last one we went to on a theme night had over 200 people.

It was a good night, the atmosphere was really chilled, the dynamic was good & lots a great chat & fun. Might just return next week, if only to find Mr Bruno again |
