Reliably informed that ticketmaster released all three Swansea pots at the same time, resulting in a good proportion of tickets having been scooped up by Scousers...great for local businesses, not so great for local music fans |

Out of 26,000 tickets 60% were available for residents of Swansea council, 25% for residents of CF, SA, NP and LD postcode I think and the last 15% for nationwide.
I’ve heard people had trouble getting tickets tickets but took me about 10 mins after selecting pot 2 and verifying by putting in my home address.
If only I had that luck on the lottery |

"Don’t buy any resold tickets they’re not transferable, you’ll lose your money and won’t get in to the event "
Yep they’ll be checking ID of the purchaser of the tickets and you all have to go in together with the main ticket holder |

"Yes the hotels have mostly doubled in price for this weekend. Are you down for both days or just 1?
Just going on the Saturday but driving down Friday "
Well if you are driving just bring a tent. Loads of places to camp and comfier than sleeping in the car. |

There's plenty on The Gower (South Gower is best) but I like Nicholaston Farm. It's about 15 mins drive from Singleton Park, on a bus route if you don't want to drive to the big weekend but I doubt you could get one back late in the evening but check as they may have put on extra services. The campsite is 10 minutes walk from some of the best beaches and coast in the uk. |
