We swear most people on here (in particular men) believe a swinging site is in fact a free pass for a *uck. WRONG!! Swinging is actually about exploring sexual fantasies once respect and chemistry is mutual on both sides.
We understand some people prefer just meeting to play from the get go and that's fine if its what everyone involved wants but a lot of us prefer to establish trust before playing and leave things develop naturally.
Thoughts on this?? |

My personal opinion is that as a single person you can't swing in the traditional sense of the word but if you have a group of singles of either sex who frequently interact sexually together either alone one on one or in group situations then that is a form of it.
Swinging does not equate easy sex. For some it takes trust in the swingers partners and for others it doesn't. Neither version is 'right', or 'correct' but it is down to the individual(s) involved to be happy with their arrangements, even if they are a married couple. I think the days are long gone where there would be a house party where the car keys all get put in a bowl at the start of the night and then the wives pick a random set up and whoever was driving that car is who they go home with though.
It's a lifestyle choice, that's all. So long as everyone is open, honest, upfront and most importantly RESPECTFUL of everyone else then there shouldn't be a problem. It is supposed to be an inclusive lifestyle, not an exclusive one. Just because someone likes something you don't, that's no excuse for animosity. Some people like strawberry pudding, some like toffee. They still like pudding so........ |

" totally agree. We have no issue with others who do it differently to us but just wish some were more respectful of how we like to go about things. We try explaining that we prefer meeting socially first but there have been times where there's still pressure from others to play even though we've made it clear how we like to go about things. Being pushy is a massive turn off for us. |

"Would love to have a swinging partner, somehow don't feel quite right as a single "
I am sure that you have plenty of people who are queueing up vying for the opportunity |

For years this has been a difficult one .
especially on forums .
But here goes
Swinging is ONLY if you are offering your partner to another man or woman to fuck. Other than that its just sex with strangers. |

Swinging actualy evolved from wife swopping in the 70's when car keys were put in a bowl or large ash try lol the wives picked out a set of keys and who ever they belonged to off they went lol, things have come a long way since then as the ladies now have as say as if they r not attracted to any one its a no and thete is nothing wrong with that and lots of cpls dont do seperate rooms like us, an now u have singles but where now the rules have slipped and there seems yo be a lack of respect these day but i think thats in every day life unfortunately |

@naughtyMrs I agree with your sentiment. I feel like I'm missing something, but for me there is also the safety aspect of it. I'd love to have someone to watch my back, as it were x |

keys in the bowl at parties with cpls was what we think swinging is too though there are many opinions of when it started i have seen it mentioned that it started at airforce bases in the 50's i suspect it was before the 70's.
the thing about key in bowl parties that it was a close group and most people knew each other.
i was part of a group in the 80's and it took a long time to be accepted into the fold only after being vetted by the organisers. i have to say it was much better then you knew when it was and roughly how it would go simular to going to a social . |

I have also heard the air base stories when working on a west country air base married quarters yrs ago, mainly when main squadron were out of the country,
Glad the glass bowl full of keys days have gone we do like to choose who we play with lol, know what u mean about uncertainty when going to clubs parties or socials nothing worse than a piss poor turn out lol. |
