'a little bit of politics' - sorry! 
There are plans afoot to introduce shale gas drilling operations in several places around the UK (despite massive health concerns where it has been done in the US - Google 'Gasland' for details - illness, animals dying, tapwater that bursts into flames (!)).. Operations were already halted near Blackpool after earth tremors!
The vale of Glamorgan is one of the areas that 'prospectors' now want to do this. If you're in or near Barry tomorrow around 5pm please join the peaceful protest at the civic offices. You can find a group on Facebook if you look for 'toxic gas drilling in the vale' - not sure if I can post a link?
