"Me but by choice. . Can't be doing with drama......Merry christmas."
I totally agree. No drama.
7.40am Xmas morning, sat in the hot tub
Still fairly dark here rain hitting the roof above. What's not to be happy about ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

"Me as well. Gonna be a tough one tomorrow. "
Hi Vixenseeker, I've been meaning to message you since your post on MissP69's thread about loneliness. I was in your position in 2009 and 2010 was the worst year of my entire life. It was hard to get through a day and I found sometimes I had to live hour by hour.
But in 2011 I regained a sense of proportion, and then realised that such depth of remorse and misery was inappropriate. Seen in perspective, what happened was not my fault, and I rediscovered my sense of self and sense of dignity. I stopped being a punchbag and went to court. Best thing I ever did. I since discover this is a pretty normal arc of isolation and recovery.
Forgive me if this seems inappropriate or not relevant to your situation, but you seemed in such huge pain I wanted to say something to assure you that you will not always feel this way.

I thoroughly enjoyed my solitary Christmas actually, and this is a bit disturbing. I'm worried I might grow to enjoy my own company more and more, become increasingly selfish and end up as a recluse. Anyone else worry about this? |
