Not from Neath but work close enough to it.

Been needing a good gig for a while! Highlight of this year has been iron maiden though!

There I was thing this thread was going to be about either elements , compounds, or alloys that are mainly typically hard, opaque and shiny with good electrical and thermal conductivity properties....

Still have to see system of a down... My main music interests are Indie (wombats, editors, etc), but do have a soft spot for the occasional bit of metal.. Korn used to be the dogs bollocks at one time for me

I'm more of a punk, but like my metal too. There are a couple of gigs coming in Cardiff, I'm going to all of them

- Michael Graves (ex Misfits) the end of January

- Machine Head in May

- Buzzcocks in May

- Sham 69 in May (it's going to be a hell of a good month!)

anyone knows of other gigs I am not aware of??

West Wales and Cardiff

I don’t like metal at all (though I’ll admit a slight twinge of appreciation when someone played me Avenge Sevenfold recently).

However, I flippin love the devotion to the music metal fans have. I’m glad there’s places in Cardiff that cater for that scene - all adds to the vibrancy of the cultural life. I love that devotion with any genre - people who live it, support it, invest their time and money in it.

Basically, what I’m saying is more power to you and that f***kin god-awful racket you headbang/ mosh/shag to

You know that sexy dance axle used to do? Swaying his hips and what not, back in the day?

You should seem him doing it now. He looks like hes doing the truffle shuffle from the goonies movie... youtube isnt axle's friend

Can tell by that stupid comment that you did not make the effort to travel to London to see them .It's easy to sit there in the house and make comments off someone's shit recording made on there phone .Keep live music live

I wasn’t dissing his music just his belly dancing lol and no I wouldn’t waste my money going to see a band when there’s hundreds of bands out there that are actually in their prime"

Well I go and see new bands old bands as many as I can and it's never a waste of money

You clearly didn't see Bowie in Cardiff on his Glass Spider tour. Most definitely a waste of money.
