Now we are back living in Cardiff we are going to do the gems camping weekend again. It will be 6th til 8th July plus it's the air show weekend too so you get to watch that free from the campsite. We've always had a great time when we have been  |

We've always had great fun we done it every July for 4 years but then away moved so stopped doing it but now we are back home we can wait to get it start again it's a swingers campsite so we don't have to hide away. They also have a club house with lots of play rooms and a Jacuzzi |

Went there a few times some years ago and, as friendly as the venue and it's operators are, the "old caravans" really were well past their "use by date" even then and the club lounge as well as the jacuzzi weren't that clean either.
Left us wondering why it was so popular given that most other Clubs now strive for the highest standard they can?
Quite likely it's because that, unlike so many other venues, this one exploits the "private club not open to the public" rule and is a smokers den . . highest percentage you'll find almost anywhere.
If you're a smoker that is your chioce and their web-site used to mention this BUT I've never seen any forum posting on here be up front about this . . if you're a non-smoker/s please take this into account?   |

Not every club is for every person and we found in the past that if there is a good group of us going together we make our own fun and rely on the club as a focal point of getting together.
It is a camp site after all and you can have all the personal preference you want in your own van/tent. |

No need to worry about smoking now as they have had a seperate smoking area for some 6 months (if not longer) now |
