"Depends which bridge you're referring to.
What about Newport Chameleons?
Thought there was only the Severn bridge to wales? ?"
There are two severn crossings plus several on the Welsh border in a northerly direction |

"There was one called The Clink in Cardiff, closed down now
the clink was in newport when it was open
I think the clink is a restaurant in the prison?"
There was a club in Newport 5 mins on foot from chams. It was in the old pil police station hence the name. |

There was a place in Castleton called The Retreat. More of a weekly/fortnightly swingers house party type affair than a standard club, but it was a great place. It seemed to suddenly disappear off the face of the earth about 6 years ago.
I suspect there are enough people into the swinging scene around South Wales, I.e. The 'critical mass' to be able to support a second regular swinging club (as well as Chameleons). But the place would either need to be in premises that have ultra low overheads (e.g. An industrial estate) or would need to be in an area where it could serve dual function (e.g. A sauna / pub in the week, swingers club on weekends). Many people looking for business ventures who are into the lifestyle, or who fancy the idea of getting into the lifestyle, would have done the sums and looked to see if it Is viable. The fact that a place hadn't popped up just yet suggests it is either non-viable or is borderline in terms if it's viability. That's my take anyway. But I agree - it would be awesome if a decent place opened up in Cardiff or nearby. |

It was a couples house and it wasn't a club as such, but a private party
They moved out of the country and hence the private parties on in a weekly basis stopped. |

Ah ok that explains it. I remember my boss asking if we wanted to do a Christmas party there. Could have caused a fun mix up if they were both in Cardiff. |

I do beleive we all need to support Chams ad so many have talked about other clubs/functions that have closed in the pass, but as much ad we luve Chams its only on a friday night, so there is a space for another club in Cardiff or Cardiff area on a saturday night as long as they dont compete with each other its a win win for every one, just need some one with the right place, balls and money to set this up xxx |

there was another venue quite a few years ago it was a bed and breakfast called swing b and b the newspaper got hold of it and the god squad and it shut was sold on.
there are plenty of people who have the money to open a club but they are sane and know opening a club with so few real swingers around would be madness. If it was profitable the owner of chams would have another club in s wales but even chams could not keep 2 nights going due to lack of bussiness. |

we have been here since the start and sites before that too there are about the same or less people on here who actually meet. there are many people who go to the socials who hardly ever play and come on the site for the social side.they would much rather go to a social than a party and play. I don't blame them but its a night out not swinging. there are less parties going on and more and more not going to them .

Yes i definitely think Someone needs to open a club up this side of bridge even if it's not in Cardiff theres loads in England ! Maybe other non swinging couples would attend and may be corrupted once they understand the swinging life of there was a place to go |

I was thinking of opening one in or around Swansea but has it's been said alrerady, there seems to be the need for one, but can't afford to lose money on it after a few weeks when everyone goes off the idea of coming,is there a big enough group of swingers in the Swansea area to keep it going at a small profit. |

I beleive that the S Wales swinging comunity is large enough to support a second club. If it where a more upmarket venue that offered something different, like themed nights and party nights,i think that it would attract business from accross the bridge too. Just needs someone with balls & a large pot of cash. |

If it was a different type of club like Xtasia maybe it would do well. Then Wales would have two different types of club. Wet and dry. One you can dress down and sexy too and one you can dress up and sexy too.
Chams is only a Friday. Friday's aren't always feasible for some due to work commitments or child care issues, etc. Yes there was at one time a Saturday night there but that was only couples and singles fems. A club that had an option for a Saturday night to all might work just as well in another club.
At the end of the day whether You all don't think it'll work or not if someone wants to make that venture, good luck to them. If it fails it's their money lost not yours. It's also your choice of you visit a new club or not. |

"Chams stopped opening Saturdays through lack off support, Fridays are often quiet, would a new club be any different? "
A lot of couples don't just want other couples or single females, they want single males which weren't allowed on Saturday nights. Also there are different people on the scene to then that might have commitments on Friday night's.
Why has there got to be negativity about new ventures. If it fails at least the person/s tried to make more for the swinging community. Is it harming anyone really. Cats it won't stop the regulars using Cham's that it's convenient for. And different clubs for different strokes |

Something more upmarket with nice dressed theme nights would be right up our street. |

"Cardiff is dying for a club this side of the bridge what people think
Swingers club or sex club?
What's the difference?
"
A sex club employs hostesses to entertain customers like the private club in birmingham. Swingers clubs dont and it's usually against club rules to have escorts working there. |

So you're saying a sex club is basically a brothel
I think "we" would prefer to be seeing a swingers club |

They are very different to swingers clubs but swingers do go to them. People don't realise there is a difference. |

just been reading forums about clubs closing or have closed
the Clink NEWPORT
Fannys Swansea
pennant hall
swing BandB
Chams Newport(sat)
from lack of business.
Socials though have got more popular and they have the same people that used to go to clubs Imaging owning a club in wales where 1 Saturday in 4 or more you hardly had customers .
There simply is not enough swingers to make a club work. |

How much do it cost to go into the club on average. I have ten acre’s of woodlands but parking very limited and also large garden with hot tub and pool. Thinking I can host a party and bag myself cash and sex. What you reckon |

Maybe rephrase that to, “I have some private woodland with a hot tub and pool, thinking I could host the occasional outdoor event if there’s interest?”
Will probably stand you in better stead as an event organiser than “thinking I can bag myself cash and sex.” |

I don't have a face-palm emoji and memes can't be posted but I think my reaction is easy to interpretation by this comment.
Jesus H, I feel sorry for the ladies on this site I really do.
