if there is not a pub found, how about we start one, discreetly of course, maybe in the lounge part, not the main bar,
maybe some sort of dress code, like a for ladies a big "bling" ring on the little finger of the right hand, the fella's something like odd socks?????
it could happen if we put our pants together |

there are plenty of local pubs that would welcome an influx of trade, maybe on in a village, inbetween cardiff/newport
Cardiff/swansea
Cardiff/merthyr
lets make this happen folks

anyone want to suggest a pub, please do so,
if its your local we'll all be discreet...
or if you want a further afield one not a problem.
has anyone got an object to the "aubry Arms" on the A48 between cardiff and bridgend?

You all know that the Old Inn has been completely refurbished and is now more of a restaurant style pub ? Has just reopened but really don`t think it`s the type of place you`re now looking for ! xxx |

So what about the Aubry Arms mentioned earlier? More central as well! Some people that are interested are further east. Plus maybe a good idea to have somewhere other than Cardiff and Swansea which are allready covered by the organised socials. Lets keep this unorganised and spontaneous. Somehwere you can turn up any night and maybe get lucky lol...xx |

right as we all seem to be saying different pubs etc, what do you reckon to saying that "fab name here" is going to "pub name here" on a date and please come along, that way we could all keep it local to ourselves, and if we want to travel we can, simples,
then meets can be in each localilty, spontaneous, maybe a weeks or so's notice, and not too much of a long planned social type of event...
just thinking outloud |

Loved the original idea but you are right it does seem to have fizzled out somewhat.
Not into this version at all. Way too close to an organised social for us.
Figured it was worth suggesting one last location.
There is a Premier Inn in between j41 and j42 of the m4 depending which direction you are heading. It has a large beefeater pub attached to it that has a huge bar area.
We met a couple there last week and it was very easy to blend in and of course the hotel being 50 yards away is very handy.
It also wasn't one of those places where you felt obligated to eat like a harvester sometimes can be.
What do we think people? New swingers hang out or what? lol xx |

"Being selfish, could we pick one in a north ward direction to give us north wales folk a fighting chance.
Even a couple of miles would help..lol "
Why limit it to one place. If this works out why not create a network of places. We love to travel and it would be brilliant if there were places we could pop in and meet swingers lol. |

agree agree, not into this arrange a "mini social" idea... lets keep it simple,
simply message your frinds list a day or two and say which pub that weekend and meet up, they can message a couple of non mutal friends and meet as well..
Sorted...
the more locations the better, a real network of local friendly swingers...

All this sounds great and we would definetly be interested, its just a matter of finding the right pub and dates. There are loads of pubs around and some that we sure would be suitable, close to Neath / Swansea would be good |

We organised a pub meet some time ago near Chester, singles and couples alike.
Left an A to Z on the table and gave a mobile number.
About 4 couples and 3 singles first meet after 4-5 meets, leaving verifications for each other showing we did actually meet, about 30 couples and 10 singles attended. Got so full in the pub the guy behind the bar asked if it 'was a works do'...
Its great fun, takes a bit of planning find the right pub but worth the effort.
Have fun.

Love the idea of a variety of places to meet.
It would be great to post to friends that you'll be in a certain place at a certain time - that way you go when you're in the mood & not at as a result of a pre-arranged meet when you may have gone 'off the boil' a bit!
Opens up daytime fun a bit more too |

It was probably the manager of the pub who was the one who suggested it...they need all the business they can get these days!!
Instead of it being arranged like a mini social i.e. guest lists etc why dont you keep it informal..on a 'turn up if you like' basis on a certain night?
Just a thought.. |

Have met several couples in the Maulburry in Conwy.
Also know of several other swingers using it socially.
It's very buisy on Fri and especially Sat nights, dim lighting usually with music on. Hence a very good venue for meets. We have descretely played with other couples in there on several occassions before moving on to hotel or home.
If in North Wales and organise a meet, this is a good pub to meet in. |

Hi folks, i thought it might just be fun for informal nights chatting over a pint etc, no pressure to play,
And no i don't own, run, manage a pub, if i did it would have a dedicated swingers night each week/month |

right, we seem to be getting nowhere with this, so how about the pub towards cardiff airport, either the cwm ciddy, it has a travel lodge attatched as well, plenty of little areas to meet up. or even the one next to airport, two cheap hotels very near by.
two days that cum to mind, boxing day, or the 2nd jan 2012 |
