No one opting for Shirley Bassey?
I know why no one would admit to liking the Lost Prophets, but it was only one band member.
It's got to be Sir Tom for me though, but I love Total Eclipse too. |

I'm surprised no one has picked a track from Penarth's finest ever band (well, apart from Shakin' Stevens & The Sunsets lol), pyschobilly legends that are Demented Are Go.
With song titles like:
Pervy In The Park
(I Was Born A) Busted Hymen
Transvestite Blues
Rubber Buccaneer
Rubber Love
PVC Chair
Orgasmic Nightmare
Clitoris Bite Boogie
Anal Wonderland
& other similarly titled epic songs.
I would have thought they'd be nailed on certs to provide the entertainment at next years 'Swash Bucklers Weekend'. Go book 'em organisers

I've got to hand it to ye. Reading through this thread has reminded me of the depth of talent in Welsh music...and the variety...Cerys, Shirley and Tom for the impeccable voices win the day for me though. Pure class. |

I am pretty sure Dire Straits had one Welsh band member and I know the ex Keyboard player Dickie something from Van Morrison's band still lives in Cardiff. Most likely a lot more. |

Andy Fairweather Lowe, started off in the great Welsh 60s band Amen Corner.
Paul Gray of punk legends The Damned lives, or did live in Roath.
Another great South Wales band that no one has mentioned are 80s hair metal gods Tigertailz. "Love Bomb Baby", is a classic of that genre  |
