Well been let down by a few 2 no shows and 3 ignoring me when the time is near to meet over the past few weeks where is the decency just to be straight and say that you changed you mind and don't want to meet. |

I wonder if Somme people just get off on the thought of meeting, but then again maybe life gets in the way & plans change. I agree it's really poor not to say if you can't make it but some people can be a little ostrich like in their approach. Better luck next time X |

I've had it 3 times lately all out of the area so travelled to them 30+ miles to find incorrect details one couple actually gave 3 different numbers while I was outside then said sorry someone was here and that was 5am |

Me and miss c + Miss D believe there is alot of people on this site that are fantasist. Its all good in their head, but when it comes down to actually meeting. They go silent and then they block. I think alot of them get off from knowing their wanted by someone else. There getting their jollies off by wasting your time. There are 1000's of real geniune people that do meet on here. so dont let the time wasters put you off. Just block them back so they can no longer view your profile or contact you and move on pal |

Try organising a social lol
Then you realise how many time wasters there are.
But on the plus side there are a lot of genuine members

And remember...if you think it's probably too good to be true, then it probably is...!!! |

Unfortunately its almost like an occupational hazard on Fab these days. Had a wasted 60 mile round trip 2 weeks ago and it turns out she had done it to 3 guys in the course of a week. We all reported it to fab but she's still on here. One of the guys reported her then named and shamed her on here and got banned. He has since left the site. The worst is when your last minute messages get ignored when you've driven to theirs and they are not there.

2 wrongs don't make a right so a ban would be expected, however proving the 4 no shows isn't so cut n dried, sometimes life gets in the way & yeah letting you know would be the nice thing to do but some people can't face that. I'm more in the sorry I'm not feeling it anymore category & happy to communicate that when it happens, which is often as some guy's here will know. I have friends who get to that point on meet day but they struggle to say it & come up with far more fanciful excuses |

All true....but if someone's out of pocket or spent a fair amount of time / effort, it's more than a bit naughty.
It is a shame there isn't a way to record no show's as form of feedback though I suppose that would be open to abuse. |

I agree with both of these thoughts.... No reason is needed to cancel, just saying they've had a change of mind would be sufficient to stop a wasted journey. Whilst the idea of recording no-shows sounds good, it would be used for all sorts of points-scoring and tit-for-tat naughtiness and would never really work. |

Yup and sadly these people especially the single men who do it make it harder for those of us who genuinely want to meet. Courtesy cost nothing. I was going to a social meet the other weekend and knew I was going to be late so rang ahead. It's not hard to treat people with a bit of respect.

As do we because it's easier to open the filters as required rather than the constant barrage of unwanted mail. That's what filters are for, to be used as required & when wanted X |

There seems to be a hell of a lot of people like that on here lately. Over the weekend I had two meets lined up...after driving a long way on Friday night to discover it was a scam, I then arranged a more local meet on the Saturday night with another lady...who then didn't turn up!!! Well and truly fed up of the whole thing after last weekend...was on the brink of pulling the plug on my Fab account until realising that then the fakes and timewasters would have won. |
