how about kenfig nature reserve. nice place and secluded towards the sand dunes a must if you have never been there!

In between Porthcawl & Port Talbot, lots of ways to get there - google maps should help you pinpoint the correct route.

We tried to find the beach at Wick last week - miles of winding lanes to navigate first.

Found the Plough & Harrow Inn nearby & the dogging car park a bit further on - which was active in broad daylight btw.

Beach was beyond car park & too far a trek with such little time available.

Hope to go back now that we know where it is.

Not sure the owner of the car park who is good enough to let it be used for a nominall fee would call it dogging car park!

Sure it wasn't ppl / surfers getting changed.

We're with bashful and Dan, The beach near Kenfig Pool (Sker beach) is wonderful for an all over tan.

One of the quietest we've been to, but the few people we've met there are very friendly.
