I have noticed a LOT of Fabbers local to these areas in my "who is near" searching.
Am looking at maybe organising a pub meet for people in this area - only a social no play - so we can see who is in the area.
I'm relatively new to this area so would be great to just make some new friends.
Anyone interested, let me know and I'll see about getting something set up. |

I have never been speed dating so excuse me if I sound like a clunge but would you have to spend time speaking to everyone including people you found unattractive or who were totally not what you were looking for?? |

I've not done speed dating either, but would love to try. Probably talking for a minute or two to vile people would make the nice attractive people seem all the better.
The trick would be to drink enough to let conversation flow, but not so much that your standards collapse and you plan dates with the vile ones while totally blowing it with the nice ones. |

I think you have a mandatory short period of time to talk to each one in rotation, from what I've seen on the tv.
Everyone has a number on a badge, and the ladies sit at a table, someone rings a bell and the first guys sit down, you have a couple of minutes, and then they ring the bell, and the guy moves on. The ladies have a pen and paper, and note down the number, make some notes, or maybe a star rating.
Once all the guys have been around the circuit, there is a sort of a "social" and the ladies can then go and find the ones who scored highest on their own list, get to know them a little better and see how it develops, seems pretty painless to me lol.

Good idea I do a social/meet and greet in Cardiff but as its at home cant get more than 30 lol but good luck lovely girl its a good idea to have a bigger social in Cardiff not had one for ages

Not sure if this has now morphed into speed dating, which we think won't work well if the main point of the event is for people within the areas mentioned to simply get to know each other?
Wouldn't it be better for the first event simply to be a social so we can get a feel for how many Fabbers live in the locality? Any additional events such as speed dating can then be run separately if there is enthusiasm for them.
We live in the locality and would enjoy a social to meet nearby Fabbers x |

used to do socials in penylan until someone told the new pub manager and we were banned but there are still pub meets around north Cardiff but organise one I am sure people will come xxx |

It's great that Penylan locals want to socialise and we have posted a few replies in support of this thread.
If the impetus has waned then can we put a slightly different emphasis on this and ask if there are any local Hotwife exhibitionist couples who would enjoy creating a social circle with a view to arranging fun social meets including sexy dinner parties or hitting town to turn a few heads?
We love dressing sexy in public and it would be so much fun to share this with like minded couples and possibly develop a bit of a Hotwife scene in Cardiff?

we do have a Cardiff mid week evening social, Someone is resurrecting the Sat Night Cardiff Social, good luck with yours . used to do big socials in penylan till some arse from here reported us as swingers to brewery so banned from using that pub any more lol |

I haven't yet...I had issues with a guy on my doorstep stalking me so have had to abandon for the timebeing plus had other external stresses so not bene on fab much.
I think I might try for an anti valentines social a few days before or after valentines day though |
