Malaga, Spain...

We enjoy going out for a walk around South and West Wales... not massive long treks but just ones that at the most take an hour or so. Looking for suggestions on any hidden gems that you enjoy.

Two suggestions are the Neath waterfalls, and the Wyrms Head on the Gower

Barafundle walk. Takes in Stackpole, Barafundle Bay and Bosherston Lakes. Beatiful scenery and amazing wildlife.

If you're in Cardiff. Take the Taff Trail up through Bute park. Or follow the millennium markers through the city

You're a strange one for a gog

You and I know the North is the best, but we have to keep the Southerners happy

The coastal walk from Sully going east is lovely, below Penarth, you pass Flatholm and Gateholm out in the channel. Park at the very charming pub there.

For proper hills though, the walk from Baglan over the Bwlch towards Cwmafan or Neath is about an hour; some great ruins along the way.

I second the waterfall walks, there is a great one that you can either start, or end, at a distillery, that's in Penderyn, up the valley from Glyn-neath. That particular footpath goes behind the waterfall at Scwd-yr-Eira.
