Any suggestions welcome "Hit the socials, and ignore the lists that seem to suggest that it will be standing room only due to the numbers of single guys who put their names down, most won't turn up, as the wife will not let them out! "Tbh that is refreshing to here. Ive been trying to organise stuff with people but find in hard. In terms of socials I haven't got the asking price for clubs and then so many socials have a limit of single guys I can never seem to go to one. I concluded that by using other apps and sites, I was more successful.. The general attitude here, created by event organisers and some goers was - * Your profile is shit and isn't to our standard, so good luck in getting meets * You need to spend a stupid amount of time in the forums just to be recognised here (which is bollocks) * If you do not have a green tick, you are not genuine, so good luck * When new socials are created, the general response will be "good luck with that one", indicating that only their event is worth going to * If you do not fit in, prepare to be reported or have a negative response * Because this is the biggest swinging site, all others don't count.. As well as dozens more.. Including trying to influence others into their way of thinking, by saying things like "don't think you will get a meet", etc.. Also, if you monitor the forums enough, you will notice those dishing out their advice constantly contradict themselves regularly, but don't see it because they have their heads up their own arse.. Anyway, if you aren't having much success here, don't feel like there is no alternative.. My old profile was sweetNsaucy and due to relationship I had 3 years off from fab.. | |||

You need to spend time in the forum, definitely not, we don't meet from the forum & on my single profile I actively avoid all of you. My experience has been pretty much the same speaking with friends, clubs, socials & parties seem to be the places people meet nowadays.

Sometimes its not the single guys on here that are the a-holes - its the couples ... Some profiles are, and some forum posters don't sugar coat how they put it over, but there is also a lot of advice given that gets ignored or attacked. "You need to spend..." Nope, the forums are only used by a very small minority of fabbers, advice is usually to hit the socials if you want to get known. "...green tick.." applies more to fems and cpls, lets face it, who's going to fake being a single male? "When new socials are created..." some newbies seem to think that they can short-circuit the meet process by throwing together a short notice, ill-thought out social, and those with more miles under their belts tend to spot something that isn't going to fly and point it out. "If you don't fit in...." Some sensitive souls take opinions that don't mesh with their views as an attack on them, and react badly... its a forum, don't post if you cant take the shadow as well as the sunshine.
