When you look at the casting in films, dramas, theatre and opera, if a woman is innocent or heroic, or the lead, or the good girl, or the victim, they'll cast a blonde. If she's villainous, sultry, plotting, scheming or sulky, nine times out of ten she'll be dark haired. It has to be challenged.
