Not everyone is looking for quite the same thing as the next person, swinging isn't just about sex for many people here & seeking sex entails different things for different people. Some might want quick, random who cares who with sex, some might want something more maybe regular & others something in between the two. Understanding your audience might help to be more successful. I appreciate that 'burlesque / satire' is not everyone's idea of humour,,,,nevertheless to look at things from another,,less serious perspective has always been a source of amusement to many.
I have,,by the way some received nasty messages from sensitive people with limited vocabulary which I have not replied to,blocked or reported...why? You may ask....because like me,,, they are entitled to their opinion.
My conscious is clear,,I sleep well,,,I'm not sure that they ever do.

I love burlesque & I'm off an age where I get satire etc, but nowhere I that type of humour would you find personal judgement or condescension. I don't know you Csider & I certainly would never condone nasty messages, but you can't be so naive to hide behind satire as the cause of some of your more vitriolic comments. That's much like those who make cruel personal comments about others & hide behind the 'I speak my mind' card. Bullying, naive & not accepting responsibility falls nowhere with satire. There will always be lurkers here watching out for people to be taken down 'a peg or two' via the written word, this says more about them than the writers in my view. At least you C sider have the balls to speak, that earns some measure of respect that lurkers don't X |
