If I want to lose weight quickly I cut out carbs almost altogether, short term.
I tried fat burners they just made me sweat and piss so I wouldn't bother.

I've got 10lb to go to my target weight and have been stuck on the same weight for about a month now as I have rediscovered my love of crisps and biscuits.
Carbs wreck me they are the devil |

And if you drink, stop.
I used to drink 6 cans of 'Bow 6 days a week for over 3 years
It was no wonder I got to the size I did
Now I only drink on occasion

Man depends what you want or what i shpuld say is where you want to be. Diet plan is easy enough to right up. I carb cycle so basically i eat 6 meals a day 2 of those meals have carbs in the pne before training and the one after. So take monday for instance. I get up do 20 to 30 minutes fasted cardio then eat breakfast which is 3 boiled eggs, some kale, green beans and spinch or broccoli and a turkey breast. Meal 2 then is chicken breast and mixed green veg (same as breakfast) and an apple. meal 3 is chicken breast mixed green veg and 2 pro biotic yogurt. Meal 4 is white fish mixed green veg and sweet potato. I train at the gym an hour after meal 4. Meal 5 is chicken breast, mixed green veg and a jacket potato. Meal 6 some Greek yougurt some protien powder and almonds. If im still peckish I'll have another chicken breast with some veg. This is a cutting plan i follow. However i like pizza and alcohol on the weekend which does not help cutting lol. I hope this helps man. You can tweak it as you please to suit your needs. |

I lost four pounds the week before last just by cutting out carbs, especially bread and potatoes. I cut out sugar but did eat some fruit. Drank lots and lots of water, no wine, and quite a lot of minute steaks.
Discovered I couldn't watch TV adverts because of the ice cream and desserts, but then, once it was over, I wired into the crisps, cheese, biscuits and extra fat milk like a starved dog. |

"If you wanna lose weight you'll do whatever suits you at the time!
It's a a mind set? "
,,
Its quite simple really.
When the 'desire' to be slimmer is stronger than the desire to shove cakes, biscuits, fizzy drinks etc etc down ones throat then the pounds will be shed.
No need to torture oneself in a gym for hours...Walk,walk and walk some more. It's all about self control and lifestyle. |

The problem with walking is that it never raises your body's metabolic rate to start fat burning.
Yes it can help you keep fit, but you need to do more than just that.
Cutting the crap from your diet is the way to go. Not putting those crisps, pop and biscuits in your shopping basket is your first step.
If it's not in your cupboard you can't eat it |

I've managed to lose 13 stone over the last 4 years through replacing my old unhealthy eating habits with much healthier eating options and it does pay off if you persevere and stick with it
It's hard work at first as you're so used to what you eat and all the "bad" foods taste so bloody good but it really does make such a difference when you start to see the results for yourself |

I stick old, unflattering photos of myself when I was 5 stone heavier on the kids treat cupboard and it usually does the trick lol |

I've tried this to everything else
Nothing seems to inspire me to lose weight
I just wish I could find the will power to stick to it |

You can't "spot train" or diet the fat away on your stomach, you will just have to keep going with a general diet and exercise regime that helps you loose weight all over.
You can "loose" a little on your stomach by toning the abs, this tightens then, pulling them in a little, thus making the gut look liitle less.
Remember to train the opposite sets of muscles too, don't just smash out reps on your abs, do your back, or you will strain it. |

Definitely this. You've got to want to do it and being doing it for you not because anyone else thinks you should.
Don't do anything for fast immediate loss it's not sustainable. Good luck x |

I just do calories in calories out when I'm slimming for a fight, burn more than you eat and you'll lose weight. It probably helps that I'd train two hours a day plus a run in the morning around 6am. I find that lets me eat all the deal I like |

I don't eat carb rich foods (less than 20g a day) & no longer even fancy chips, rice, pasta, bread, sugars etc but I do still look longingly at CAKE hmmmm I don't touch it though, if I don't feel I need it why eat it. I'm no longer in weight loss but my health issues have resolved & this means no more surgery, so it's a lifetime change for me, one that walking & moderation would not achieve X |

More or less what I'm saying..Cut out the crap as you so eloquently put it.. and eat less,,,(you didn't mention alcohol by the way) but no need to go for the burn in a gym once the pounds have been shed,,walk alot more,,self control, will power etc etc.And live a healthy lifestyle from then on. |

The main assets to losing weight to go hand in hand with eating less and moving more are will power, self control and determination..old bad habits die hard...it's up to the individual themselves no one else. |
