Well although I've had an account for a year it's only been the last couple of months I've really been using it and his week alone I've had two dramas on here
One being an abusive woman and her boyfriend
The other being the boyfriend of a recent meet turning up on my doorstep (I didn't know she had a bf)
Anyway my question - Is this what I should expect on here ? And what do you do to minimise this stuff happening ? |

Quite a few aggressive people but not sure why, just block em.
As for the ladys boyfriend; you're not the one in a relationship, she is, so his issue should be with her whether you knew she was attached or not. how was it resolved if you don't mind me asking? |

Well I think he wanted to punch me till he seen the size of me , but I calmed him down, showed him the texts from her saying she was single and had broken up from her boyfriend , apologised (for what I'm not sure) and closed my door lol |

Good you had the proof. Shows it's not just the guys on here that can be deceitful.
Chalk it up to an experience and hope you don't fall foul of that type of thing again. |

"Trust noone, believe nothing.
That is the only advice I'd give anyone on here after what happened to me "
I keep a distance from everyone nowadays... yes some people think I'm stuck up and aloof etc, and I also get people gossiping about me, twisting situations to favor themselves, and recently sending shitty messages about time to meets. But that's fab idiots for you.
keep your head down, enjoy your meets. Choose as wisely as you can. But sadly you will always get someone who shits on your doorstep.
That's my experience anyway! |

Best advice from me is to meet with people who are a little further away from home.
I had a couple of incidents when I was first on fab a few years back and now tend to invest more time chatting to get to know people rather than meeting with people in the "meet now" situations to avoid any dramas
Just remember there are a lot of good people on fab, just take the time and patience to find them. Equally there are people out there who you could meet in every walk of life e.g. In a pub, work, etc who could bring similar drama to your life
Good luck for future meets, hope you don't experience anything similar in the future |

Solid advice , most of which I already do
Funny thing is this girl lived 35miles away so her fella must've driven for 45 minutes just to confront me - poor sod |

@missp69 what happened if you don't mind me asking?! We're debating what to do.
We don't ever accommodate at "home" so we're hoping to lower the risks that OP has had but nothing is risk free x |
