Daytime socials do provide this already. Are you suggesting that anyone who's been on the site for 6 months or more would be barred from these? |

Aww thanks and its a rememberence of a person who invented a single social for everyone to get together and go to chams and have a good time unfortunately this person is no longer on here and she knows who she is and hopefully everyone knows who she is  |

There have been single socials before in the evenings & most single guys failed to show. The only recently stopped. Any social that's a success is welcome, there are are many here who enjoy them as much as the fun side X |

There have been single socials before in the evenings & most single guys failed to show. The only recently stopped. Any social that's a success is welcome, there are are many here who enjoy them as much as the fun side X"
This social is a rememberence of a person who invented a single social for everyone to get together and go to chams and have a good time unfortunately this person is no longer on here and she knows who she is and hopefully everyone knows who she is and hopefully she returns |

In my experience getting groups of people together is like herding cats - fabbers or not.
Agreed the regular socials are not going to fit in with everybodys lives for all manner of reasons.
would be good if fab had a fb like group setting for social - so those interested in a particular geography / time could be in the right one for them.
i totally iuunderstand the need to be discreet when organising the bigger ones but if there were a certain number of pubs / coffee shops etc that on certain days or nights like mindeds assembled i think there would be more of a non club scene? |

I wish you luck in arranging this .. lots of people enjoyed the previous single socials. Just a note though ... the organiser had a special arrangement with Chams regarding admission after her socials ... you'd have to check they would let you do the same because their general admission policy is membership required and genuine couples paying the £23 fee ... singles gents fee is considerably higher and prohibitive to some people. Xxx |

I have to say, the existing socials are fantastic, and while I'd advise people to use them, any forum that people use to make connections and build trust can only be a good thing.
My only advice would be to not underestimate the amount of organising involved and be prepared for the first few to have a lot of no shows until you get established. I wish you the best of luck! |

Daytime, night time, day of the week etc, whatever time there will always be people the arrangement won't suit. Any organiser has to look at where the gaps or demand might be & arrange accordingly. Night time socials are generally well attended & lots of people are only too willing to offer lifts, I've often shared with others X |
