The scenery, so much more to see.
The worst
Haven't really got much to complain about so paying over £6 to get back over the bridge is as bad as it gets for us. |

You say that but my partner is English but has NEVER had a problem down here only jokingly and a bit of banter,but every time I went to her folks,I was constantly taken the Piss out of for being Welsh. |

We are a very forgiving nation. That said, we have a memory of the times when the english could fuck our women and children and could not be taken to court (unless by an englishman). When they introduced a law to prevent us speaking our own language. When they stole our land and called it theirs.
And yet the irony is that the english continue to have a problem with us, yet we choose not to have an issue with them (ave on the rugby field). My father was hospitalised for a year because he was Welsh. I was beaten up in London because of my heritage.
I married an english woman, I have no resentment against the english, but why, just why, do they continue to believe we are lesser than they are. Their arrogance and ignorance is astonishing. |

The best is having such beautiful countryside and beaches so far away from the cities and hordes of tourists visiting en masse frequently.
The worst is being so far away from city life and airports and when there aren't enough tourists to keep the local industries financially buoyant.
There's also the best of having clean water and no droughts, with the worst being excluded from national weather extremes such as snow or heatwaves, here in Pembrokeshire. |

After 12 years living in Wales I can say the people are the best thing, and life in Cardiff it's so relaxed, much better than in any other big cities.
As mentioned already, it's not the easiest of places to get to or travel from, but saying that..is it really a bad thing? |

Having pride in our country is what's important. And we achieve it best be living it not comparing it.
We all have our favourite parts..I love my rugged wild coastline, the green retreats and the hairs on my neck raising when a choir sings. And the fact that wherever I've been in the world, a Welsh accent makes me want to say hello and talk warmly of my home. |

The majority of the Welsh and especially South Wales folk are great and friendly and down to earth,Wales itself is beautiful and has huge hetitage,but West Walians can be rude and ignorant and speak in Welsh when English people about and in local pubs....and i am a Proud Welshman and yes when the Rugby is on despise the English....;-) ..  |

My kids speak Welsh and English and I think is brilliant they can converse in both languages . Just the same when you go abroad people speak lots of languages and we dont question them or think it's rude xx |
