Where have all the welsh gone, never known the room to be 0 for such a lot of the time. Come back make the room what it used to be one of the best full and friendliest rooms on here xxx  |

The room used to be bouncing. Lots of good chat, now you go in and hardly anyone speaks. All the oldies don't go in yhere now. The bitching has put a lot off...  . The whole site is not what it was .... |

I used to be a regular in there but this year I've hardly 'popped my head in'. Too much he said she said shit going on and I have enough drama in my own life to be putting up with anyone else's. |

We've never really used the cam rooms on here.
As for the Welsh forum, the wife stopped posting on here ages ago as it's really not the most friendly of places, ie any newish poster puts something up a little different than the norm ends up getting mocked etc and you don't see them again, single males get a hard time on here in our opinion as well.
It really needs to lighten abit.
Any way have a good weekend all.
Ps this is just our opinion. |

Ive had my fair share of unintended public whispers and I have to agree there used to be 100+ in there at 1am now nothing (why).
I stopped going in there ages ago, couldn't do with the ignorant back stabbing people in there. But my biggest gripe is the way some couples and single females completely blank single guys that are not male models, then they whinge about the lack of guy on here.
Now before I get shot down yes they are entitled to pick and choose who they want, but it's a chat room. I thought the whole point was to chat and see if you got on prior to a potential meet or dare I say it, have a laugh.
You make the site and tools (chat room) what you want, everyone won't always get on, and you wont be attracted to everyone but being civil and polite cost nothing

I experienced it myself recently and I don't think the person even realised how they were coming across (not that I am one to give a fuck what others think of me)

no not my thing either rosie, i go in there for ab out five mins at a time lately, its a shame cos when i first joined a week or so after site started it was fun i was in work full time then and i came in at 6.00 made a cuppa and signed on there were about70 and all good fun and no pissing in a glass in those days lol |

I used to visit the Wales room regularly. It was usually light hearted banter and there was always someone to chat to whether it be about Fab stuff or just everyday chit chat. It became very aggressive and got to the stage where you were almost afraid to say anything unless you got a curt reply, or some keyboard warrior decided to have a pop. I consider myself an 'old-school' fabster.... 10 years service and remember when people were here for fun between the sheets and banter between the meets, but those days are sadly long gone. The easiest way to avoid the hassle is to stay out out the chatroom. Dare I say it.... the forum is just as bad. |

Maybe peoe have actually forgotten the true meankng of swinging. How conversations get started...how meets get set up how friendships are made how trust is gained and if your lucky more happens. Maybe more old school with a twist of actually having a laugh. |

In fairness, I'd not been in for a long, long time, popped in and had a lovely chat with a few folks recently.
It's possible - of course, I don't think the forums are perfect by a long way and I have seen bad stuff.
I do think sometimes people mistake cliqueness for people who know each other well chatting away as if it was over the garden wall. I'm not saying there weren't people who took that too far though.
I think sometimes you need something out of the ordinary to break through and get involved. I can't remember what I said, but I know it was something ridiculous, but potentially humorous!
I'll admit it, but I tend to stop responding to "hi room" with "hi MassiveWang" after a while. It isn't exactly fair to do that, I know.
It's a bit of a vicious circle really: forum dies a bit for various reasons - people understandably notice and comment - forum gets reputation for being less good - more comments about it etc etc etc.
It might be a nice idea to have a forum "open day", where everyone piles in. Admittedly existing regulars might question why the need for a "takeover", but it'd be something different.
Probably need a "no getting the old boy out" clause though, to stop it turning into a wankfest though |

Everyone talks about cliques here & at socials as if they're unique to Fab, they exist in every walk of life work, friendship groups, families etc. What's important is the way we respond to social groupings, we can all sit on the outskirts looking in & complaining, or we can try to become involved & mix things up a bit. I'm not in a clique but I'm well able to join some of them when I wish & the group I socialise with will usually change dependent on the group & the venue I'm at, I just choose not to engage in the cliques via chat X |

I've heard a lot about this since been here and been at the end of the little niggles but hey you always will get some in all parts of life so now I just laugh it off!!--my personal thing is always the advise is go to socials yet for myself I have no interest to throw my personal life out there as to many idiots about--I have total respect for the ones that enjoy all that side but personally I'm happy with the few I chat n meet as seem to find more genuine ones that way!!--my own personal findings btw-phewwww that was close lol just stay calm people and enjoy whichever road you take |

Perhaps there should be another site for us munters called Fab Mingers.

Ive not been on fab much recently for various reasons...
but i would always say it was never the most lively fo chatrooms in any of the time ive used it.
when i go in there i do try and get involved but its hard work as often just a lurky sausage fest which probably puts of the ladies and couples ... so a bit chicken and egg
i think it comes down to attitude if i go into a bar - i drink
if i go to a restaurant - i eat
so if you go in chat?????
