Broken iphone- HELP?

Hey calling anyone pretty smart with phones, namely iphones.

Just for perspective I have an iphone 5s, its second hand but in perfect physically condition. Never had an issue.

Last night I had nearly fully battery, I went to sleep and now the phone is just a blank screen?

Why would a phone BREAK WHEN YOU DID NOTHING TO IT? Like really any advice before a poor apple employ has his day ruined would be much appreciated by us both.

Plug it in. Turn the power on. Hold down the home button and the power button for about 10 seconds. Should reset it, if that doesn't work there's something more serious afoot.

check youtube for fixes. lots of stuff on there. If no luck try and go to an Apple store to see if they can help

Some iPhone 5 got bad battery type in google apple puts new battery in them for free

Plug into the laptop /PC you back up to, see if it will run with the power and restore from there if necessary. It could be an update that stalled all sorts really

Research dud batteries and replacement at the same time.

Had a similar problem with my iPhone 5 full battery one minute then no charge at all it's a battery problem have it changed or do it yourself if you feel brave should solve your problem
