I think I'd start by looking for a good tattooist. I've seen sleeves by tattooists around neath Swansea and port talbot and they are excellent! There's a few people on here that have sleeves so maybe contact them? Then I'd start looking on the internet for designs you like or maybe buy a tattoo magizine for inspiration that you can incorporate to your preference. Don't rush it! |

Find a good shop. See some of their work. Give them a few ideas of what you want maybe a design or 2 then ask them to fill the gaps with their own ideas and stuff. (This is why they have to be good) you won't regret it. Done it for both my sleeves

"The usual rule for judging how good a tattoo studio is is the length of the waiting list, a good one might not be able to fit you in for weeks."
Definitely this X |

Definitely find a good studio and then speak to them and they'll talk ideas with you, in a studio you could have a few different tattooists and they'll each have different styles that they do best |

The advices on the artist to choose are definitely correct.
I'd pencil down ideas of what you would like, wheter you can picture them together or not. Maybe a little drawing too, it doesn't matter if you cant draw.
Talk to the artist you trust and explain your ideas. He will surely find a way to put them together. Then you can work with him to make it just right for you |

I've been trying to plan one too.
What I've done is chosen a certain style and then images I'd like to be in it
I've actually chosen 11 things to represent my life.. which I think will be too many..
But I'll take it to my tattooist and he will do the rest. |

I've got quite a few tatts--sleeves etc--memory tatts are easier if you already have and use a great artist as they kinda know your likes n styles--nick a few things that remind you on a personal level and give them to the artist--if they're good and especially if they know your likes they will get it 80% there and after a chat your ideas will meld---goodluck |

Surely you can only have a maximum of 2 sleeves |
