As a single male who understands the ratio of men to women here just wondering which preferred?--I have a dislike when send nothing but nice message then not even a no thanks as that's no drama to me at all--I know the answers maybe can't reply to all soooo isn't it easier to wink then ladies can look through a profile see if if interest at all?--curious to know |

We always use the wink button as a way of gauging interest & as a single female I was more likely to say thanks for the wink than I was to reply to a message X |

That's good to know from exp couple---recently with all the moaning of us single guys AND the ladies n couples here that say get hundreds of messages I just think that a wink would atleast let them take a read maybe wink back if a hint of an interest x |

I totally agree, I've always seen it as a nice n polite non pushy way, if the wink isn't reciprocated you know there's no interest & you haven't bogged down their inbox. We're well aware that some people hate winks but you can't please everyone X |

"It's easier to receive a wink as a single male because you generally don't get much traffic ....
But women and couples probably get so many they look at them less than messages "
I look at them as much as messages tbh
Because I think it's less hassle than answering a message
As some guys can't take no thank you
So if you don't wink bk id take that as a no go?? |

A wink is as good as a nod, but a message is better
A wink with no message is just a bit lazy
As many have said about messages, a bit of effort and imagination goes a long way |

I look at winks and if interested wink back. As you've all said it's kind of a less intrusive way to show interest. I also wink on occasion to show interest too |

I think a no response is the answer, the rules are clear about that. We have no expectation of a response to the messages we send but it's nice to get the yes we're interested, when? One's |

I've been trying the wink for the past week and FairPlay most seem to be polite enough to respond either way---before I always messaged and always nicely and respectfully--takes time and really frustrating when not even a no thamx!!!---before the wagon gets full with a delete meens no interest then surely a wink would be easier on both parties and shows respect both ways |
