"I know this might come across as random on here but has anyone got/had one if so are they worth it ? " I have never had one but a friend bought one last week in Argos or perhaps Curry's for I think £39.

It depends on what you want to get out of it ....
If it's just to count your steps then I'd say ok, but the cheaper ones are only suitable for that.
If you want a more serious sports device then you're better off getting a smart watch or a dedicated gps enabled watch like a garmin or TomTom
For the cost of your more expensive fitbits etc. You're also better going for the latter |

I've had mine for a year now and only really wear it to the gym. I mostly use it to give me a real time heart rate readout so I can work harder or lesser to keep my HR in the right zone.
The step count is a bit vague as any hand movements count as a step (yes, THOSE hand movements too) but it does give you a fair guide as to how active you've been in the day. If you're not going to use the data to actually make changes to your lifestyle then it's a bit pointless though interesting. If you're into excercise and training then it can be a handy tool |
