Right, let's get this straight, for the second time of asking 
When: Wednesday 3rd May
Time: 7:30 pm onwards
Venue: Cardiff city centre pub

If the weather looks good then I'll find a nice beer garden to sit out in
This is an informal social, a meet and greet, in a public venue.
All the usual social niceties are to be observed.
Attendance is free, and open to everyone, but at my discretion.

The venue details won't be posted on the open forum, otherwise every Tom, Dick and Harry might turn up
As with all of the other socials, I'll message anyone that's expressed an interest

I know I missed the last one due to health issues but I think I'm sorted now so I'd like to try & get to this one if you'll have me. I'll be traveling down the M4 from Port Talbot if anyone on the list. needs a lift X |

Ok, maybe in just being in a grumpy mood this afternoon, or you've caught me at a bad time
But ....
You're asking to be invited to a social event....
Just saying "Add me", "Put my name down" etc. isn't really going to sway things your way.
Is this how you would normally contact someone ?
I'm not asking for a novel, but show some politeness, be respectful and courteous.
Think about how other people might see you through your conversation, or lack thereof.
Maybe I'm just overreacting, or just catch me at a better time |

I appreciate it's getting inundated with guys, but having never done the social gathering thing, and being told by friends it's the way forward, I'm tentatively interested ! |

I've started sending out venue details to everyone.
If you've expressed an interest, but not received a message, then it's probably because you have filters up that block me 
This applies in particular to some couples

Rather than being just another no show, I would rather inform the group that unfortunately due to a situation out of my control (elderly parent issue) I can not attend tonight.
