I'm certain that I'm not alone is looking forward to the summer..it's so cold today, I can't wait.
I plan to spend as much time as I can at Monknash on the nudist beach. I went a number of times last year, and each time was more fun that the last, although it could certainly do with more women (plenty of men for you girls!).
Anyone coming (pun intended)?? |

I've been there. It's easy. Just walk along the shoreline until you find the bit where the men on the cliffs above walk their dogs very, very slowly (I suspect they may be a cardboard cut-out of a spaniel actually).

love it there we've been going quite a few years and there's always a few couples there.now if we could only stop the single guys sitting on the rocks above wanking then it would be ideal  |

There are problems
No clear legal position on nudity and no legit public play
Genuine nudists won't enjoy being perved or wanked over
I've been tempted but not been sure about how risky it would be to get caught there

I go down quite regular, more people have fun on the East side, more genuine naturists on the West side... Or you can sit in the middle and have the best of both worlds, ha, ha!!!
I've got talking to quite a few regulars down there, not a bad bunch, some nice couples, and a few wankers, but I've never seen any trouble.
If the tides too high Kenfig beach is a good second option.

There seem to be a fair number of us who would love to visit Monknash this summer. I'm certainly going to be there as often as possible. It's fun, non-pushy, relaxed and you can sunbathe unbothered by anyone. Don't expect to see any naughtyness, it's really a great place to sunbathe.
For those who don't know how to get there,the best way is to park at the beach in Southerndown (£4-ouch!)and walk eastward and over the headland, which is easy as there will be a number of walkers to follow. The trip down the other side of the headland is not difficult, as there are steps cut into the ground. Once on the beach, keep walking. After about 20 mins you will find yourself on a sandy beach, and there is a metal ladder half way along, from the beach up to another access point. You are almost there-just another few hundred yards. You are already on a beach used by nudists, but most will be on the rocks ahead. (If you have an OS map, follow the coast from Southerdown and look for Whitmore Stairs. That's it!)
It can be safely accessed by this route 3 hours after high tide, there is another route from the east, and as mentioned, from the ladder, but this is probably the best way if you haven't been there before. |

It's somewhere that I've often wanted to visit - maybe this year.
Can anyone tell me - is it the sort of place where a single woman can sunbathe without too much likelyhood of being bothered?
(I may be on a swinger's site, but naturism is a separate thing for me and the two are not connected.)

we've been going about 5 years ,unfortunately there's generally always someone who perches themselves closer than they need to especially if it's single ladies but we've never seen anyone really being bothered by guys in a physical way . we've had guys day above us wanking but a quick glare or ask them to stop usually dies the trick so don't let it put you off going it really is a lovely place |

The people I met there were friendly Annie.
Undoubtedly there are people looking for fun. I think it's a bit more "blurry" than Morfa, where the beach is for naturism and the dunes....
I think it's quite well known that there's a couple of "slow dog walkers". They are up on the cliffs above though, so I can't imagine they cause any bother.
This is just my take - I'm not saying it's a definitive analysis.

Yes, there's always someone who is a bit pushy - I can deal with that, but I don't want to go if they gather like a swarm!
I just want to be able to find a nice quiet spot - or to wander (clothed!) along that glorious-looking rocky beach section...
As for Mofa D - last time I went, I hadn't even found somewhere to sit, let alone strip off, before a guy just blatantly asked me for sex - and that was right in the middle of the beach - the "safe" area!!! (There's a;ways one...!)

That's a shocker. I always thought it was always well self-policed.
There is one guy who always seems to be there though - he did lie down a bit too close to me and started furiously beating himself off once. I call him Gollum.
I told him bugger off and he scuttled away in a Gollum-like fashion. |

We can honestly say we've never had anything like that but maybe that's because we're a couple and there's a male present , I suppose "some" guys may wrongly assume a lady on her own can't just be there to sunbathe but I think it's fair to say they would be very much in the minority
there's a few lovely spots along the coast here where nude bathing is popular so we hope you enjoy wherever you may try xx |
