So we're going to our first social on Saturday, very much looking forward to it too as not been to one before.

My question is......... introducing yourself? Site name? Or your name? Hug? Kiss on cheek?

Hiya hope you enjoy the social on Saturday. It's a great one fair play.

I always go with my site name first then my real name straight after.

When it comes to greeting gestures I let the person I'm meeting take the lead whether it's a kiss on the cheek a hug or a handshake.

We go with real names and then site name if they ask. If it's a fab social then they've already seen more of you via your pics than most new people you meet so some formalities can be broken down.

Personally, we greet new people with a handshake on the first instance and then with a hug each time thereafter.

I remember being introduced to Snow for the first time and she threw her arms around me in a big hug

It doesn't matter to me, kiss, Hugs or Handshake, I forget who you've been introduced too anyway
