If I'm staying in Merthyr Tydfil on a Monday night, where can I go for a nice drink and meal maybe a social meet? Is Cardiff close enough?

I'm not to sure on what's around in Merthyr we've never been on a night out there, Cardiff is around 30mins drive though x
