Do verifications prove genuine?

Had a couple contact us who have no verifications after over 12 months on site. When we declined their invitation to meet on the basis of lack of verifications as described, their threw their teddies out of their pram saying that they don't see the need to prove they are genuine using them.
What do single fem and couples profiles without verifications after months on site say to you? |

It's easy for a couple or a single fem to get verified. Meet for a coffee or pop into chatroom on cam. Doesn't take much effort!
We understand that single guys have a much harder time to get verified so we give them the benefit of the doubt! |

We are exactly the same, we wouldn't even consider arranging a meet with someone without any verifications, we have given people the chance to get a veri by meeting us, then we end up waiting in for hours only to find they are going to be no shows.
After a year on the site they should have a couple of verification at least, yes they might not have been very active in that time, but should at least have a couple. They don't even have to have had play meets, social meets would yeald them some verifications as well. |

We are about 15 mins outa Pontypridd and we do go to Crawley in west sussex 2-3 times a year so get in touch !! |
Varifycations are a must for us coz you can ask other ppl who have said theyve met them what they are like thats if theres any concernes |

I take veri's with a pinch of salt....yes I only let verified people mail me, it does give some degree of reasurance BUT I dont belive everything I read. After all, if u leave a veri for someone which is not very complimentary they are not going to display it are they ! |

works both ways i feel coz so many fakers on here that if they go too the trouble too set up fake profiles adding veri,s too those too look gen is easy too so a veriis just a guide and i wdnt judge some on just that afterall wat pleases some may be opposite too you |

we never take any notice of veri,s i (jackie) met someone with a few decent veri,s only to find out he was a right odd ball and threw him out of my home ,and i have got friends who have been on this site since it started that have never been verified through choice and they are one of the most genuine fun couples on here |

Only time the alarm bells ring is after say 4 months there are no pix or veri's, as already stated veri's are just a guide but in this day and age cameras are on everything so even a body shot can be sorted, we (on our cpl profile) have arranged to meet a cpl but when they (he) was found to be a fake accused us of falsifying our veri's lol but it takes all sorts, but if anyone want's to meet us and ask about us I don't have an issue with that as I prefer everyone know's what they want and to expect from us as it's only fun and what floats your boat might not float theirs so if you at any time get that hmmm not right feeling be safe and move on. If they throw teddy out the pram then you were right!!! Have fun be safe and be happy xxxxx |

We didn't make any accusations about them not being genuine, all we said was that we'd prefer to arrange to meet people that have recent photos and verifications. Seemed to touch a nerve!
We agree that verifications are just a guide. One couple we met without a prior social were a total disaster. We'd based our decision to meet them on the strength of one of their verifications from some one that we'd met previously! |

No verifications (or hiding them) means a no to meeting for us too - unless we were to say meet us at a social - like the one in cardiff
But tbh, you have to use your best judgement - there is no right or wrong / gen or non gen, it's how YOU decide to follow your instincts (they are generally right)
If they have reacted badly - then guess your far better off not meeting them! |

My pics are on my profile but are pvt so it says I have no pics which is incorrect, but I do say in my profile I'll show my face no probs to those im interested in. My veri's I've kept pvt, as this side of my life is pvt and I'll keep it that way, I know im a fab shag and so do my meets  so I dont feel the need to advertise myself that way lol. If this stops me from getting new contacts then so be it, it is all down to personal choice at the end of the day x |

verifications certainly help us single guys out on here, i also understand that names get passed around between couples etc which is probably the best form of verification any single guy could recieve |

Morning, the use of and hiding or not hiding verifications can be done for various reasons.
As others have said, keeping a vanilla and swinging life seperate may be essential to those in a sensitive job or small community.
We are polite in our verifications that we leave and dont use personal names. That said others have for us.
Swings and roundabouts spring to mind. |

Totally agree, some veris are no good & that can be relected in the veri but its highly unlikely they will display such a negative one. However, veris can be good as a way of letting interested people know how you like to play & what interests you. It can alsobe a good way to compare people, especially the ones you know with a similar taste to yours, if they enjoyed a person you know that you may like that person also xxx |

I my self think they are the biggest waste of time they only make you think you are talking to or going to meet some one or couple that you believe to be real you only have to look at the profiles there are loads of people that have a few profiles why you have to ask yourself its not hard to work out talking of hard lol |

it is very unusual for a couple not to have a verivication of some sort on their profile and i for one would not entertain someone here for over a year with no verifications just seems odd not to have even one from a social meet on show .  |

It's not mandatory, or even essential, to have verifications, but it does help.
We use them to get a "feel" for the people in the profile, verifications from a range of people gives us a more in-depth view of whether we might be suitable (and vice versa) for future friendship and fun.
Yes, it's true that, with multiple profiles, someone could "fake up" some verifs, but with a little digging it would soon become clear that they were not genuine.
We ignore cam verifs (easy to fake), and also those verifs from just one or two "inactive" members, and instead look for verifs from socials etc, that prove that people are genuine.
At the end of the say, no amount of verifs containing gushing praise will mean that the person(s) in the profile will be suited, but having none, or having them hidden, will make others wary. |

You got caught out by the cardboard cutout of Brad Pitt from Blockbuster, eh? I had the same problem with the inflatable Cheryl Cole I met on webcam the other evening - she and I were both 'let down' at the end of the night |

You got caught out by the cardboard cutout of Brad Pitt from Blockbuster, eh? I had the same problem with the inflatable Cheryl Cole I met on webcam the other evening - she and I were both 'let down' at the end of the night "
Despite this guy not moving on cam for i don't know how many days and wearing the same briefs and robe in the same pose.....he is apparently real BUT only in the directing room! |

Vari's that make a diff to us are the 1s you get when you've actually met the persons, we dont mean to play just meet.Because fone and cam varies dont mean a thing only that the ppl you are speaking to or camming with are real but that dont mean at all that they are gen so meeting in person varies are the way forward |
