Let me tell you of some amusingly strange facts on "porn films" that I learnt from my "previous life" . . I'm better now I've had tea with the Vicar. 
Back in the days of VHS tapes your average length for a US, German or Scandinavian "porno" was TWENTY MINUTES . . one would often buy a 60 minute tape with three films on it.
Why only 20 minutes you're bound to be asking?
Because the Yanks, with their love of "statistics", actually had it calculated that if a guy sat down to watch one he orgasmed between 18 and 19 minutes.  So why waste expensive production costs . . .
. . . and they're right, aren't they? How many people watch longer shows and simply "fast forward" to the juicy bits? |

Correct apart from how long a wank takes
They got their calculations wrong. Certainly for teenagers anyway.
My old man's porn films in the early 80s were full length features. Usually 1 1/2 hours and after fast forwarding the makers attempt at a story line, when I got to the pervy stuff I came in exactly 30 seconds.
Who the fuck last 20 mins when you just want to knock one out? |

. . but you're forgetting that the "stats" were what was used by US producers for US buyers? Maybe it took the guys longer as they had to achieve the difficult balancing act of handling a beefburger, a beer and their knob with only two hands? 
Today, as can be seen on commercial web-sites, the most popular format is the "three minute quickie" for on-line "pay per view" . . anything longer than that is considered a "film to be downloaded".  |
