" You can't go wrong if you look for women walking like John Wayne and guys dragging their knuckles along the floor |

Wow. As usual I’m 33 weeks late to the conversation but just came across this thread and am intrigued.
I would say the Park Plaza and 10 Mill Lane both have their moments and I’d also agree that Dr Jones younger sisters bar in Whitchurch might well be a good choice.
Having said all this, I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting anybody in situ so far but would be delighted to change this soon! |

"Wear some pampas grass in your buttonhole"
I thought it was wearing a bowler hat, with a copy of the 'Times' under one arm, and a red carnation in my buttonhole?
No wonder I haven't been pulling when I've been getting the train down.
Guess I'll have to pop up to the local florists and get some pampas grass later today.
Thanks for the tip. |

Ffs... no wonder we been getting nowhere on our nights out, I been tying a plastic shopping bag to her waist and wheeling her up and down between the tables in a trolley! |
