Do you? I've not had a bad lunch in Demiro's - never amazing but never bad.

But then food is always accompanied by cocktails there

Bar 44 is a favourite for me.

Potted Pig; The Chapel; La Cuina; Purple Poppadom; Happy Gathering for Dim Sum on Sundays...

Probably visit Wagamama most though: cheap, quick and tasty...

I love my food

Forgot about The Chapel!

And the Thai restaurant across the road is good.

Also not a fan of Demiros - do they still charge for the 'sparkling water' they make with their carbonating machine? :D

And don't get me started on fucking Giovannis - most overrated restaurant in Cardiff? :D

Apologies if I've offended anyone...

Newport

Love good food, hate fussy restaurants nowadays. Bestest ever was the Walnut Tree when Franco had it.

The restaurant in Harvey Nics, Briz is very good with a very cool cocktail bar.

Any pub selling good ales and a good proper pie/stew better than any pricey restaurant

Isabellas

19 Mary Street

Purple Poppodum

La Cha Cha

The Thai House

Medeira

The Port House

The Market Place

I don't particularly like any chain restaurant. Much prefer small, intimate, independent places.

blackwood

I can beat that for views.

The church inn in mynyddislwyn.

Near blackwood. On top of the mountain. The best steaks ever. so local and fresh. It's an old pub doesn't take cards. Cash only. But it's just lovely family run.

Gemellis Newport

1861 on the Abergavenny - Ross road.

Potted pig in Llandaff I think is over rated personally I've had lunch there and it was ok but nothing that special.
