I used to go 4years ago and it was busy almost every night now I think it's gone quiet I think I was up there on a Friday about 4 months back and I was the only one up there. |

I have to agree that yes it is infact dead or dying because the cops and (as the person above said) 'Boy racers' are spoiling it (well said by the way) these days you got to be aware of whos about or whether or not that the people you think are dogging are undercover cops |

In other forum threads on this subject rather a lot are saying they still do participate but NEVER put anything in public posts.
The reason is a very valid one . . especially when you take note, and many on here seem blindly unaware of, that ALL the forum postings are available to read by ANY person simply by using Google search.   |

I think the whole notion of there being designated areas is the issue. We live in Wales! There's a shed load of space that can just be created. Those who say sharing this just encourages this and that, however private messaging favoured profiles of locations etc isn't all that bad surely?

I go all the time with my fb. It's never to cold we've got heaters as have most cars lol. Lots of police presence now though. That's why prearranged meets are better. We are always on the lookout of cpls and woman to join us x |

Well I've searched and searched this thread and I can't find ANY reference to a location or time let alone a "vague" one so whilst I respect your opinion and am in fact a big critic of people who post locations or ask for them ,so I don't need it "explained " to me ,I reiterate my opinion that nothing can be gained from viewing a general discussion about dogging so I suggest you direct your criticism to a thread that does so and I'll thank you not to refer to me as a " muptie" if indeed it was aimed at me |

We meant no offence but some site users are truly very silly for only "Mupties" would post exact dates, times and locations in public threads. Yet it does seem most common that available information often includes a location or where to or what part of town together with a day and they seem unaware that non-members, indeed anyone, can use Google to read all of that too.
The Police and other Authorities will have a list of car-parks and similar and from that even the typical posting on here will make it easier for them to get lucky with their hunting.
To test this we have used Google to see what can be gleamed using key-words and locations . . better than 50% accurate results . . and when you consider some members actually put their real names, location and ages in the heading of their profile that rather gives out more than most would like too!!!
But maybe what ALL should be concerned about is that Admin either permit or seek not to block open access to these forums. That's the real issue. |

i'm in complete agreement with all the points you make guys and a quick click on the green arrow will show you how vocal I am about criticising people naming locations or even hinting at them .however I do feel your concerns should be aimed at threads that have locations in them rather than just general discussions about dogging , some threads simply talk about dogging etiquette or perhaps what people prefer to do whilst out dogging and I see no harm in this provided no location or times are discussed however vague . admittedly almost every one of these discussions will have the odd person asking for locations but these are generally ignored . it's simply possible or fair to expect not to discuss dogging in any shape or form but that's just my opinion obviously

@ _igjrv . . never claimed to be "PC", the world can be daft in trying to be so, but we DO NOT support bullying . . you've missed the mark. In any case the original "Muppets" were also non-pc . . just listen to animals drumming!?!
@ nutty200 . . very valid and true comments but how can anyone have an open discussion about dogging when the foolish actions of a few wearing rose-tinted glasses possibly create an "unsafe practise" in that they make it easy for the authorities to turn up unannounced . . and remember . . that Police "cruiser" that drives in and watches the guys rush to drive away almost certainly has recorded all the vehicle registrations with it's dash cam/s. 
But, apart from using private messaging, what about the point we've made that EVERY word in these forums can be read by ANYONE in the World using Google search? That is the point we're trying to make . . how can anyone make even the most guarded reference to wanting to take part in this age-old activity . . if you word it so safely nobody will understand anything!
We have clearly seen references to members being trolled by outsiders, clubs being attacked by outsiders and private parties being outed . . now think ALL that is written here is freely visible. See?
We can't see a reason why Admin allow it and they DO have some if not all control. Go to your "My Account", select "Privacy" and you will see you can make your profile unavailable to Search Engines . . so why permit then the pages of the forums to be so? |

We're obviously not going to agree on this guys but that's perfectly fine and all part of the forum and debate ,it wouldn't be interesting otherwise. what's important is to respect others views and we do respect yours. we're not big fans of sharing locations full stop ,whether it's publicly or by pm ,apart from with verified couples or fems , in our view most of the best sites that used to be are now overun and unfortunately single guys have to bear the brunt of being the cause , I day unfortuately because most guys are very respectful and indeed dogging wouldn't work without them but I think everyone would agree the sheer numbers are now ridiculous,a problem which has been made far worse by sharing on the Internet.
as i said we're not going to agree on all aspects of this subject so that's the last we're going to say on it but wish you happy swinging and if appropriate happy dogging |
