As we don't normally meet people more than once we have very few people on our friends list as for veris we show enough to show we do actually meet for play and also social meets. |

Although we've been on and off Fab for years we are very private and cautious having just 8 trusted friends (who we've met) plus one very special Giacomo Casanova, who, although we haven't met has always conversed humorously and politely, a great friend and support here ?? |

That is a very interesting answer and reminds me of members who after attending a social post on their profile a request asking other attendees to give them a verification and without reference delete them and then do the same procedure after the next social, sorry a bit too difficult a procedure for me to understand.

I'm with a lot of others & don't think it matters, we're not seeking veris, not looking to make lifelong friends & have a list as long as your arm but we do value the very few real friends we've made during our time here X |

I didn't say that but it is rather difficult for attendees of socials to post verifications within hours of the social when it is obvious that they have not been involved in any activity other than chatting but whereas the location is not a public area and is a commercial venture then obviously it is a different outcome and therefore can't be compared with a members social .

I'm afraid you are going to have to break that one down a bit, it seems to me that the two points you are making are firstly that people should only post veries if they have played, and secondly that if they have paid to attend something they are under obligation to give a good veri? I'm guessing this is some form of dig at the camping weekends?
Having held one small social, it seems you have developed into some form of expert on the subject, so please, do expand on what it is you mean? |

Why do hung up on verifications & who or where they come from, wouldn't you be best using any energy gaining meaningful verifications for your own profile? I'm not really sure why you posted the thread originally but it seems to have descended in an opportunity to rubbish the social verification system. If it's not for you there's no need to engage in that process, we rarely leave social veris & rarely show ours but that's because we're here for action, but we don't criticise those who value that system, it works for them X |

I was thinking the same when I wrote my post but the green arrow is every forumites best friend, there's always a picky, aggressive undertone to this guys responses to others, well the ones he doesn't seem to have respect for. He certainly doesn't practice what he preaches X |
