Fakes spoil it for genuine fabbers, but from experience I think its getting to be an impossible task, I still report them, but after that I move on, but often flagging up something "iffY" in here can get you into trouble. |

A fake is somebody pretending to be someone/something they're not.
Someone being on here as themself/ves but not meeting is not a fake  |

I used to mod and monitor profiles on other sites... old habits
I just thing the veneer of sites policing such activities is often thinner when the culprits are generating revenue |

I understand its an emotive topic for many and also the economics may well preclude action by admins, but if surely if someone gets a string of reports about them then its time for admin to take action.
I am sure you have a life outside of here, but well done for making a stand. I'd hate to see FAB go the way of other sites where the invasive progress of an ever increasing number of fake profiles has ended up driving away the real people.

wasnt looking for a pat on the back..
the old site i modded was about nudity
so pics were often stolen or re used...
heres a bit diff but still i see it as diluting the ethos of the site?
i just find a lot of fab not that engaging and it takes seconds to find a fake

i had a fake and he's into hacking peoples phones
i met him at a group meet
he mailed me later and claimed that he had set up a MMF meeting with a girl in Sheffield
when i asked for a pic he said that would send it to me on WhatsApp
i told him i didn't have it
the same thing happened when i asked for the address
he wanted to send to me by text so i gave him the number to my play phone
it never turned up, he claimed that he had sent it
it took an hour to get it out of him (it was the deal breaker)
i went to the meet this morning, knocked on the door, no one there
tried his phone, no answer and now i have been blocked and his phone is busy
he didn't get my Whatsapp id
