Morgans are great, their town house rooms are pretty cheap too.

It depends on your needs, if it’s an overnight stay or daytime fun. If you and your playmate are arriving at the same time and if you’re travelling by car. If you’re looking for somewhere close by where you can have a social drink and chat first.

The cheapest is likely to be the two Travelodge’s, one is in the right in the city center. But overnight parking may prove a bit expensive and from what I’ve heard you’ll need to check in with your playmate. No sneaking them in later!

The other hotels mentioned are fairly close to the city center. There are also a couple of Premier Inns, one right in the center the other a ten minute walk away.

If you’re travelling by car and don’t care about entertainment outside the room then there’s a Travelodge on the M4 that is very convenient. Have used that one myself and seemed idea, but while doing the midday early checking my playmate was told by the man behind the counter ‘Oh you live in the same village me’ She went bright red and I looked at the floor and kept my mouth shut. So we had to use a different hotel after that!

I didn’t know The Village and The Marriott did dayrooms, will have to look into that. But more Cardiff way I think.

You can take anyone back to the Travelodge they don't bat an eyelid

It's the Premier Inn that only allows named guests in after a certain time

There are plenty of Daytime room websites. Marriott in Swansea does day rates around £59.

For fire regulations hotels should have guest names, but you can be who you like, only complication is whoever is using their card I guess. Bigger hotels have lots of daytime visitors using it for coffee business meets, lunch etc, so if your looking to blend in, more chance than a TL.
