Just to add what Giggles has put on another thread.
We were at Darlaston over the Bank holiday and managed to speak with Nick the owner.
He confirmed to us that, despite the rumours, he has no intention of reopening Newport for Swingers on a Saturday night.
There just is not the demand to justify it..despite what various people on here say or think. Further, the gay section is far busier and this is first and foremost... a business.
However, during our chat we asked him about continuing the Newport refurb, bar and downstairs was done last year, I think, seems a while back now.
Anyway, he has some painters finishing work at Darlaston over the next few weeks and on completion of the work there, they will then transfer to Newport to decorate upstairs. Hopefully this will be about 4 weeks time. Also if members have any ideas to add to our fun on Friday Nights then please let Charley [behind the bar], know and she will pass it on.
We suggested the TV room upstairs would make a great dark room, switch the TV off take the light bulb out and hey presto.
Other ideas obviously are very welcome, it may be worth people putting their suggestions forward on here and gauging opinion.
Hopefully, with upstairs finally getting the face lift it needs it will encourage a few more people to support the club. |

A dark room would be good but with all the lecherous knobs in there I wouldn't feel safe ton be honest. As it is they think it's a free for all when in the jacuzzi even after being told no.
I'm not saying this is all as there as some really nice respectful guys that do go! |

I'm with snow on this one... even though i'm a single male the way some behave down there a dark room would not be a great idea at all, beside's i personally think chams is not half bad. they just need to update the porn that is being shown thats all. |

This. I've had fingers jammed inside me in there before now, and even had a guy try to join in on last Friday's gangbang without a condom on. If blokes are not willing to show basic respect to women in a brighter and more public environment, then god help them in a dark room. I wouldn't use it personally, but it may suit others.
As echoed above, this is only a few. I know that most guys who go are clued up and respectful.  |

The dark room was our suggestion during a 15 minute chat. If Nick gets 10 suggestions for something else and only 1 for a dark room then obviously the dark room will not happen .. not that anything is guaranteed. If its feasible, and has a demand, Nick will LOOK at facilitating our request that's all.
The idea of this post was to confirm, no Saturdays for Swingers, let people know about the refurb and get peoples thinking caps on about ways of adding to the facilities on offer to the Swing section.
Our own experiences of dark rooms as always been very positive..hence the suggestion. So get your heads around what you would like, open it up for debate on here, and/or tell Charley so she can pass it on. If it works and support for the club grows then that is good for all of us. |

I didn't mean to come horrendously negative and everyone has a right to suggestions. Just after past experience it worries me with some of the "people" that go that can't respect lit areas they'd be worse in the dark. But as said above some might enjoy it.
I personally think the gangbang room could be moved to another room and made a lot better like the one in Darlaston |

It has a huge rotatable round bed 
Also a room with mirrored ceiling
Glory holes not as good as Newport though

Experienced Darlaston for the very first time myself recently and compared to Newport, it has two jacuzzi's, rotated big round bed room is great fun  Bar area much bigger and twice as much atmosphere

A bigger smoking area would be nice. Perhaps use the fire escape area by the couples room ?
I much prefer Newport to Darleston due to the fact that they have more lockable rooms, glory holes, and the Jacuzzi is warmer.
What I think would be nice is something I've seen at another club. Amsterdam rooms. Lockable with a large window and have partitions that you can go behind if you prefer privacy.

I agree with this, a larger smoking area, and a large lockable playroom, with a viewing window that is not limited to couples only.
The Diana room could easily have a window fitted and a lock put on the door so wouldn't cost much.
There is a dark area up in the attic so another is not needed. |

After visiting other clubs and seeing the hygiene standards that they have what our dislike of Newport is that there is no tissues, wet wipes and sanitising sprays in the rooms..We like everything else about the club. |

Daralston is bigger and better. It is a 'players club' more than a socialisers or voyeur's club. The West Midlanders are a bit chattier, a bit cheekier. The sauna gets used. There is play in both jacuzzis. It's possible to chat to new people in the bar, or watch them on the pole! The cinema is much more of a play room. It is open seven days a week... |

For Both Bugs and I it was our first time doing anything swing related. We were made comfortable and at ease and everyone there was very social nice and plesant. Id say it's fantastic to newbies |
