Let me begin by apologising.
I know I said you weren't up to my standards, that other summers were hotter than you, more outgoing than you were. But, I'd had a bit to drink, and I didn't mean what I said.
Let's move past the hurtful things I said. Please, don't cry any more. If not for my benefit, then for the plants. We both need you, and I know you're hurt and upset, but they've done nothing wrong - it's not fair that they're punished for something I've done.
Please summer - come back. I miss you.  |
