Weekend break 5th-7th August....ideas??

Me and my mate looking to go somewhere fairly local just for a couple of nights next weekend. Say and hour or 2 drive tops. Wanted to go to Tenby but everywheres chocca as we leave everything til last miniute as usual. Not looking at a mental weekend so trying to avoid the cities. More a town type setting with a few tidy pubs or if there are any tidy music events on anywhere etc. Ta in advance  |

Cardigan has some nice places
I'm booking a hotel there for this weekend £90 but the place looks lovely
The village is a nice hotel and not to badly priced either |

The hotel I'm booking does food and drink
It also has a spa but depends what you want from hotel
What about the grand or dragon
I found a few places in Tenby but not cheap |

We went to Cardiff last week for a night. not for the shopping ,but to see the other side of Cardiff Had a great night out there and back to the hotel for fun xx (Meal and band in the live lounge bar) |
