No, I use ecigs, and I am not a smoker, it doesn't smell (except fruity), I'm not left with smokers breath and tbh, if I/we meet anyone who are non smokers they would have no idea if we didn't tell them (all those we have met do know BTW) |

I don't mind people smoking ecigs but it really pissed me off when they blow the smoke in your face/over you (almost to the point where I want to punch them)
I'm not a smoker of any kind so dislike smoke or vape |

This for us as well & they seem to do it more than those who smoke cigarettes |

I've tried numerous e cigs and every time I have got a sore throat and headaches.
And to be honest it drives me insane when people do this as well. I also don't agree that they puff on them when and where every they want.
The number of parents you see puffing them on the school yard is crazy.
I go to a relatives and the house stinks of it and they blow huge amounts of smoke out of its nausea.
Yep I'm a smoker how ever after visiting the doc the other day and being told I have ashma I walked out of the doctors and straight to the stop smoking clinic.
The doctor also said they wouldn't advice a e cig as no one actually knows the effects it will have until years down the line and also many people have been going in complaining on headaches and sore throats while using them.
This is my 3rd day without a cigarette with the help of patches.
So does this make me a non smoker now?
Or as I'm using nicotine patches am I still classed as one???

There is no smoke from an e-cig.

A lot of people try and definitely don't like e-cigs this is often due to the quality of the actual kit purchased and definitely the wrong e-liquid,if anyone is interested in buying one then go to a specialist shop where you can sample the liquids and get advice about the plus and minus points about the kits
I started on 36mg and I am now on 24mg but some people start on low strength and unfortunately they are not getting their nicotine kick and just give up |

I used to think I had smoking under control cos I only smoke when I drink..
Truth is I'm an addict.
Don't let the evil bastards make you believe any different.
We'll find out the truth about e cigs in about 20 years and I'm pretty sure the outcome will be more or less the same. Our lungs weren't made to breathe in that shit. But hay ho... you should see the shit I have to breathe in on daily basis in work.
Wish I was a farmer

Probably true about the 20 years point, but for people that do smoke and considering changing to e-cigs there is a very serious cost benefit and as for the effects there would appear to be a lot of people in the medical world saying that they should be available on the NHS |

I've purchased a expensive kit and it still didn't agree with me.
No one actually knows the crap that are in the liquids.
And the full extend of what damage it's causing.
And no I don't believe they should be free on the NHS at all.

Well as for the e-liquids then unfortunately a lot of them originated from China but now there are lots of UK manufactured brands that I think have a superior quality and are more trustworthy over their actual content |

I'm with giggs, I have two expensive kits and whilst they seemed to do the job (unless I was having a beer) I'm kinda afraid of what's in them.
I didn't buy the cheap liquids or whatever either but the lasting damage is unknown - and that's a worry.

Very interesting observation's but the chances where that you have smoked cigarettes previously but it has to be said that people who have had some types of cancer have been advised by their surgeon that changing to e-cigs would be a desirable thing |

But when I went to the go on Monday I was advised not to use a ecig.
And wasn't there something on the tv a few weeks back saying they were now unsure if these ecigs are safe??? |

Likely because they're not cigarettes.
Nobody holds any test results to prove they're safe and better than cigarettes. |

There have been hundreds of observations and you obviously must make your own decisions on the information but it is also the case that there is a lot of support for them and if you are a smoker I would say that the monetary gain should be a serious consideration and needless to say that cigarettes have been proven to cause cancer and to date that is not the case with e-cigs and although not important I my self have used them since 2009.
a 60 a day Benson's smoker previously |

Smoking tobacco has been done for a very long time.
These vape pens etc only a few years.
At least with cigarettes you pretty much know where you stand.
When I give up again I'll be using willpower and sex for therapy |

Mmm unfortunately the cigarettes/tobacco that lots of people are buying on the cheap are made and falsely branded now you are talking health hazards, the pity being that they are bloody dangerous but if you are comparing e-cigs against this type of product then the e-cig is obviously the winner but to conclude giving up is obviously the safest.

I think you will find they have !!! Been tested if you read the above link "
Just because something is less harmful than something else doesn't make it safe.

Yes but still talking about known facts with smoking vs unknown long term damage of ecigs.
I'm not anti ecigs in anyway but fear of the unknown has turned me to not want to use one again. |

"And as the PrestatynCpl state its just vapour
And vapour still fucks with my chest, so regardless of what it is, stop blowing it in my face people!!! "
Better sell your kettle and stop drinking hot tea and coffee then. |

Technically they're not smoking, they're vaping.. Equally seen many horror stories though of e cigs exploding, etc.. Although a very good alternative to smoking cigarettes.. |
