And Folly Farm as well as Dinosaur Land.
If you come to Swansea you'll find the LC - a water park which is great for all ages and you've got the Gower which is utterly beautiful.
If you do come Swansea way then you have to try Joes ice cream - it is the best ever. |

West Wales and Cardiff |
The National Botantic Garden is near Carmarthen
Aberglasney House has lovely gardens.
Dlyan Thomas's boathouse at Laugharne.
Llansteffan is a nice village on the estuary - pleasant for walks etc.
Red Kite feeding station at Llanddeusant near Llandeilo.
Dinefwr House (National Trust) near Llandeilo.
If you're a keen walker, I know a couple of gorgeous walks in the western edge of the Brecon Beacons - half hour or so from Carmarthen.
Carreg Cennen castle is impressive.
The landscapes are the best thing though, really.
The Teifi Valley is nice, north of Carmarthen. Towy Valley is too.
If you can get to Pembrokeshire, the coast is lovely. Plenty of things to see and do there too. Cardiganshire Coast is lovely too. Happy to recommend beaches and walks - let me know.

No visit to Carmarthenshire/Pembrokeshire is complete without a visit to Tenby.
You've also got Manor House Wildlife Park, owned by Anna Ryder Richardson, that's just outside of Tenby.
A lovely quiet beach around Carmarthen is located at Ferryside, park in the boating club by the train station.
Nice long flat walks along there.
If you're looking for somewhere good to eat try the Worms Head Hotel in Rosilli - you'll be hard pushed to find a beer garden with better views.

I wouldn't call my Neath day social a "tourist attraction"
But of course the op would be more than welcome if they fancied it |
