Very boring I found it, but better than having 3 points

They don't offer the course to everyone they probably just give the boy racers the points as a deterrent rather than try and educate them

I went today and I was nervous due to people saying it's crap. But I actually enjoyed it, it was a nice refresher for myself and I know how I got caught and I would recommend it.

Depends what type of road ur caught speeding on for example motorways just give the points I think. But I'd rather take 3 points than sit through one of those courses again lol

I've been on 2 in the past 4 years & enjoyed both, I was surprised that some of the people there had a licence though, some didn't have a clue X

I've done one, and found it was great to get a refresher.

I was surprised, as someone else mentioned, at how few "boy-racer" types there were, most on my course seemed to be sensible, "ordinary" people, apart from one woman who I could quite happily have banned from driving for life lol.

The guys running mine were ex-traffic cops, with about 60 years of experience between them, and one was a driving instructor/examiner, and one had been a pursuit driving instructor, so they were about as knowledgeable as you could get.

For me, I'd happily re-sit through what they did as a refresher ever few years, and I would say it would save a lot of lives if it was rolled out nationally, perhaps every 10 years or so.
