England are such know massive under achievers in major tournaments
Let's hope they pull it back and give their fans something to cheer for. Might aswell make all the arrests, carnage and law breaking behaviour at least a little bit worth it |

I feel sorry for the Engish but it was such a well created goal for Russia
Problem with England is that they often just expect to turn up and progress and that rarely actually happens but after decades of the same attitude they never ever learn
This should bring them back down with a thud and hopefully get them to pull their fingers out

It was obviously from first half they weren't going to win
They just danced around the pitch making loads of mistakes
But hopefully this will make them up their game |

Wales were very good and took there chances, England also played very well and should have scored a hat full, looking forward to Thurs afternoon now and also good luck to Northern Ireland. |

"It's just a game at end of day, just a shame fans can't behave like rugby counterparts "
The minority of Enlgish fans have been an utter disgrace in major tournaments for years
Such a shame for what should be a proud sporting country |

Most of whom have to hand their passports over to the police
I personally know a few of the arseholes and I think they should just be locked up during the games to make it easier |

It's utterly humiliating
And it has gone on for decades
Thing is a time will come in the future when they will ban England fans from major tournaments alltogether
And yes they will do it eventually as it is ruining the sport unfortunately for the majority of decent fans |

It is very sad but a time will come where it will be unfortunately easier and cheaper to ban them alltogether
And yes....major tournament organisers can and will do it which is a pity |

I just think if you can afford to fork out that amount of cash to go and watch England play in a major tournament abroad
Then you should be of a reasonable enough standard of behaviour to not be arrested en mass |

It was Russian and French fans as well. There just isnt any need for it. Enjoy the game. You dont get this sort of violence and behaviour in other sports. Its the minor few ruining it. Plus the high media coverage doesnt help!!! |

Missp aren't you the same person that stated on a thread last year that you felt ashamed to be Welsh after seeing the behaviour of other fans out in Cardiff
So let's not just slat the English please |

I was sent a copy of an article
Where Russian and English fans had been messaging about meeting up to fight
The people involved are well known thugs who have to surrender their passports every time the games are on
And I'm glad someone realises it's not just the English |

Looks like the English fans have been mostly injured. 2 critical and 20 have serious injuries. Even fighting inside stadium. Women and kids have to jump over barriers. This is being shown on the news now |

The small minority of English football hooligans are notorious for ruining it for the majoritiy of genuine English fans at major international tournaments and have done so for many years
It is a terrible shame Lush as most England fans can't then enjoy the game without getting tarred with the same brush
I have genuine sympathy with the proper England fans who have to tolerate such behaviour of their counterparts |

That wasn't my question
My question was about the behaviour of Welsh fan last year being racist to a taxi drive
I guess that's ok thou as he didn't hit him
And we shouldn't talk about them things lol |

See it's disgusting
But did they injure themselves as its only English fans that fight ?
It makes me not want to take my kids to a game thou in fear of this sort of stuff |

I challenged the male in question on my own as a single woman at the time in the middle of Cardiff as you already know and would do so 100x over again as racism and violence has no place in our society in my view |

Yeah to be honest I prefer watching rugby to football now
Football is so slow and boring
The pitch is full of pretty boys
Ok they are fit as feck lol
But I enjoy the rugby and think that's probably what I'd take my kids to watch |

"And was that not after a game?
Which shows it's not just English that can't behave themselves "
Unfortunately the small minority of England football fans have caused absolute mayhem abroad at major tournaments for years
You're talking multiple arrests time and time again
It is in no way a slur on the genuine fans and shouldn't be either
It is just a small hardcore holligan minority who will continue to use the sport as an excuse for mindless violence
And I personally back any steps the authorities take the stop it |

"I took my son to see Wales v Cyprus in Cardiff City Stadium. It was an amazing experience. But i would take him to a rugby game any day over football "
They are two totally different games
My kids play both
Rugby is far more technical
Football is so much quicker, free flowing
I adore both.
That's the beauty of sport |

Alot of this violence and racism is usually fuelled by alcohol, plus u always get one that wants to pick a fight. I think they will stop alcohol as these events/tournaments before long |

The main reason I wouldn't take my kids to football is the language, lack of respect from fans and players towards officials and the disgusting vile chants
Tbh don't usually much violence inside the ground |

I honestly can't see how they can use alcohol as an excuse
Noone enjoys a massive swig more than the Welsh rugby fans
You don't see violence on the same scale there |

You think they would have learnt years ago after they were locked up for ages and names and shamed in papers
Their families had to live with the shame day in day out and now In their 50's some are still trying to do it |
