Now we are by no means naive but if somebody has recent verifications what would be the need for voice verification?
We obviously ruffled a few feathers when asked to voice verify when we are verified??
Can anybody share their experiences?

I know they didn't believe verifications they wanted the female to speak to me. I said but our verifications mention both of us and are recent.
Then got the abuse for not agreeing to it and blocks. Sounds about right  |

Good job iv got a thick skin eh.id love to say these were new to the site and young and native but nope.

Voice Verifications sounds a bit stupid tbh. Anyone can pretend to be the person to whome your have been asked to speak to.
And people who abuse you for declining to voice verify. Probably had something to hide themselves. Although some people dont take verifications as a means of proof of who you are. |

Whilst we understand your valid point of view OP we can also see that the "old standard" of the females talking on the phone early on in contact still makes absolute sense, it really does. 
Ironically just posted on another thread about "fake couples profiles" and the use of the phone is the fastest, most efficient way around that issue . . and not long ago we physically met another local couple and absolutely nothing went as they stated but, having met them, they said could we send them a verification because for some reason they couldn't send us one. Thought nothing more of it and then after we sent the verification they completely ignore us. Analysing what went wrong we remembered they'd deleted their previous profile and we, and others, were simply "trawled" to put new verifications on their profile. 
Didn't get them anywhere as our verifications vanished when we blocked them. 
We still think anyone up front should expect, even offer, a quick phone chat . . it's got to be quicker than ping-pong messaging? 
. . and OP? If those wonderful jugs are actually on a body sporting a big stiffie then that thought alone may be why "Prick" is currently rolling about the floor having one hell of a wank!  |
