I followed this story from very beginning-I never believed he was guilty personally but can only go on courts ruling I guess-but he has denied it constantly and never ending-now the guy gets it quashed and now a new trial--2 things that I find frustrating-1-if it was found there was now a doubt on evidence then law says not guilty!!-2-how the fukkin press named him from day one-ruined his life was all over news non-stop-found now not guilty and a very small piece in the news!!-personally find this so very wrong??  |

Totally agree He never did it from day one, the girl knew full well what she was doing, she consented to his mate having sex who weren't a football but didn't consent to ched? All the evidence wasn't Tight, only gotta look at the CCTV of her walking into the hotel, she was supposedly so d*unk and couldn't stand she didn't know what she was doing, but yet she forgot her pizza outside and ran back to get it? If found innocent which he is then that girl should be made to pay compensation to him simple! |

Well put my friend--my view has always been if a guy rapes a woman and proved no doubt he deserves the worst treatment ever-but on other hand if the woman lies she should get same sentence he would have been given and named n shamed non-stop!!-sad thing is it affects the poor women who HAVE actually been through such a horrific ordeal!! |

Exactly same grips my shit with all these teenage boys having sexual relations with their teacher etc, as soon as his parents find out it becomes rape or grooming, which is bullshit, the boy knew exactly what he was doing and wanted it just as much! I know it's all down to the age factor and the teachers should know better but by this time the boy has already been sleeping with her for weeks and then plays the innocent person! |

Not going to give a point of view on the footballer but have to say the teacher pupil scenario is totally different. The teacher is in a position of power and should never breach the trust that they have been given. Even if all parties are consenting the teacher , always older, is violating every code including moral. |

Ye I agree the teacher has a responsibility and power and have breached them but I guarantee you that the pupils in question were bragging about it to all their friends! But Ched Evans has been proper shafted |

It should be the police paying compensation (I'm not anti-police btw). Remember - the girl made no complaint of rape and had no memory of being raped. The police suggested to it to her - I think that would mess with a young woman's head to a massive degree. |

He never raped her, she had tried crying rape previously but that evidence wasnt allowed to be told in court. Nor where her social media posts where she bragged about how she was going to spend her compensation before he was convicted.
He can she be sober to cinsent to ine man but to d*unk to the second, but sure shouldnt she therefore also be taken to court as both men were also to d*unk to consent
Lives and careers ruined. Hope at retrial he is innovent and she is made to repay the money she was given
He was foolish to cheat on his partner but didnt deserve jail for it |

Me to buddy and also hope if all info is allowed in court that she spends same time behind bars also--this kinda woman ruins chances of genuine women who have been put thru such a disgusting act |
