Had tons of fast cars over the years, I can assure you it doesn't turn girls on! Most of the time you are worried about them pissing on the recaros!!!!
Had a night event rally prepared mk1 escort in 1999, extremely cool car if you like cars.
For some ridiculous reason (I was only 18) decided to take a girl on a date in it (wtf was I thinking)
So.......after she climbed in over the rollcage (a lady like way to do this does not exist) jam herself in the cobras and brought the 5 point harness through her little black dress, I started the car.......no radio, no carpet, no roof lining, no back seats nothing (too heavy!) and the beast began to rattle her fillings out!
So we had an ok date, left the place and it was freezing cold. The 20 year old door handles which where chrome had frozen solid. I had to piss on them to get in the car. Followed by the worst heaters ever, draughty everywhere, and a bassy tone from the exhaust giving it BBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRR all the way home.
I also felt it necessary at the time to explain the difference between old cars and new cars, more to the point fwd and rwd as I proceeded to go sideways around every roundabout.
Well I know this will come as a shock, but there was no second date!
Now my company insignia estate.......can fit a double mattress in the back! Ladies couldn't give a shit about speed, it's all about comfort! |
